Could you do some headcanons about Holy when she was younger?
-Like her father, she could get a little too rough and tumble despite her mother trying to make her a proper little girl. Lots of scraped knees and a gap toothed grin for much of her childhood.
-A bleeding heart for anything she came across. Too often her parents were met with a teary plea to just let “one more aminal” stay with her so she could nurse it better. Many a squirrel and broken winged bird found a safe haven in her closet, under her bed, in the backyard hiding place behind the shed.
-She always listened to Granny Erina with wide-eyed wonder at the tales of her grandfather and great grandfather, of their heroism and kindness. She also would giggle every time she’d ask about her dad and Erina would just huff and rant about him being a hooligan.
-LisaLisa tried to teach her to not take shit from anyone on the schoolyard, but Holly mostly used it to defend others who couldn’t fight as hard. She came home more than once in tears from a scuffle, and Joseph tried to tell her it was okay to run away from a fight she couldn’t win. But she wanted to be strong, like him and Grammy Lisa and all the stories Erina told her.
-She never intended to pick up Hamon, but it came with the schoolyard brawling and LisaLisa’s teachings, but she mostly found herself using it to patch up her little backyard pets and scraped elbows and getting a second wind to punch a bully one last time.
-She definitely mellowed out by high school, and became much more subtle in her helping of others. She found her passion in cooking, and always joked it was made with a hint of love, but really it was just a touch of hamon that made its way into everything she made that gave it the extra oomph that would fill the stomach and bolster the spirit.
-A small part of her wishes she got to be a Jo too, but as she got older she appreciated the opportunity to be something new in the family history, and she treasured the simple things in her quiet life.
–Mod Jona :)
