(Enoshima I’m bald) hey kiyo and juzo, this is the grandfather with brain cancer anon again. I just felt like I should update you for some reason (not that you really want to know) but he was given two days to live and before he went completely out of conscious he came back for a second and told me happy birthday and he was sorry for ruining it. I’m not a religious person but I think that people praying for him gave him the opportunity to talk one last time. Thank you for everything.❤️❤️

Hello once again. How wonderful! While your situation is still terribly sad, I'm very pleased to hear that you got to have that last experience. For the record, I'm happy you decided to send an update. I keep every anon I've ever spoken to in my thoughts, and yes, I did want the update and I am happy you chose to share it with us.

Spirituality is a powerful thing, even if you're not religious. I'm pleased that in some shape, way, or form, your grandfather was able to speak to you one last time. I hope that this moment can provide you some comfort in the times to come. Once again, I am very pleased to hear that you were able to have this moment.

I know you mentioned you aren't a religious person. Well honestly kid, neither am I, but I do believe you're right about the praying thing.

People think he’s always scowling but his face actually just looks like that.

He’s gotten used to new people always asking why he’s mad but he’s still a little self conscious about it.

Enjoys reading any novels he can get his hands on. Mystery, romance, young adult, classics, you name it.

The type to do his best when trying to console other or give advice, but the poor thing is TERRIBLE at it. Vent to him and he’ll hit you with the “Uhhh, that sucks”, but’s it’s coming from a genuine place of compassion.

Constantly has to justify that he actually does like squid ink pasta and he’s not just eating it for the aesthetic.

That being said, he embraces his physical appearance whole heartedly. Often uses it for surprise jump scares (usually against Monoma).

Dances by flailing around with passion.

Being in love with one of your best friends...that’s...that’s something i can relate to all too well. 

Now I’m not sure if this is just a temporary thing for you but I warn you to be careful when dealing with these feelings. Sometimes, it is possible to think you like or love someone but you really don’t, I’m not sure if I’m explaining this right, dammit.

The best way to stop thinking about this after so long is to well, to finally tell them. Although that is easier said than done because of the potential it could ruin your friendship. And I’m sure you don’t want to follow that song that says you want to ruin your friendship. Maybe you can also distance yourself in some way, not completely, but maybe limit how much you talk to them. Just until feelings potentially die down. Maybe that could help ease up your mind, especially after 3 years.

As nerve-wracking as it might be, I plainly think that Kuwata-Kun is right. You should try your best to work up the courage to confess! It sounds like you've been struggling with these feelings for a while. As a wise anime gambler once said, to make your ambitions come true, you have to take risks. I think Leon and Tsumugi covered everything however I'm going to try and add in some anon. As someone who knows from experience, realizing you might love your best friend is a like curve ball, one minute you have this friendly bond and the next there's something more. Of course, like Leon said, there is always a risk that your feelings may not be what you think they are.

My advice is this anon, think about your friend and how they make you feel exactly and if you realize it's genuine love, then try and tell them how you feel. Risks are a scary thing but sometimes holding those feelings inside is worse than the possible risks. I'm not really good with love to be honest anon, but I know how you feel.

They first met because Yui was in the 1A dorms with Kendou apologizing to class A because Monoma was being Monoma again.

Yui, who also has really good hearing due to being mute, was there with Kendou until she heard singing from inside the building that nobody else picked up on

She was like, whaaaatttt????? Isss thaaaattt???? And wandered off to find the source of the siren song.

She was actually hearing Jirou singing in the shower and she ended up just sitting crosslegged outside her door just listening in.

Jirou was surprised to to finder her there and when she asked what she was doing Yui signed “Was that you singing?”

She was embarrassed but invited her in if she wanted to listen to her practice.

Yui just stayed in her room for hours listening to Jirou sing and play her instruments and they we’re girlfriends by the end of the day.

When they start cuddling or kissing, they won’t stop until someone intervenes and even then peeling them apart takes effort.

Jirou thinks Yui’s eyes are just the prettiest big sapphires she has ever seen.

Very big on PDA, they are literally glued to each other in public.

It’s hit the point where everyone just refers to them as wives by second nature.

“Yui your wife’s here!”, “Jirou your wife’s here!”

This lead to Jirou accidentally introducing Yui to her parents as her wife, something that neither her parents nor Yui will let her live down.

Yui actually didn't play any instruments before she met Jirou but she really wanted to learn.

She took to guitar very quickly because of how articulate she is with her hands already.

One the other side of the coin, Yui taught Jirou how to make and paint her own Matryoshka dolls (they look like crap to everyone but Yui).

Due to Yui’s quirk she sometimes just likes to shrink down or grow so she can either give or receive giant kisses.

Yui is trauma mute and has night terrors. REALLY bad ones and this worries Jirou immensely.

This first time Jirou noticed was when they fell asleep together and Jirou woke up because Yui was clinging to her in her sleep for dear life and the whole bed was drenched in ice cold sweat. When Jirou got her to wake up she was heaving, crying, and looking all over the room.

Jirou brought her out of it by staring into her eyes and and numbing her mind with kisses. Pretty soon Yui was almost back to normal and Jirou was the one that was hysterical and crying.

Jirou counteracts these sleep fits by resting her chin on top of Yui’s head, humming music, and by pressing her jacks into Yui’s chest just above and below her heart and vibrating them to her own heart rate because that brings Yui’s back into a steady rhythm.

For the nights when she’s alone and wakes up in a panic she has several recordings of Jirou’s voice saved on her phone to calm her down.

This is a stark contrast to Yui’s motherly nature that most people see.

Is Jirou going out? She must wear more layers! Is she eating? She’s not eating enough! Is her soup hot? It’s too hot!

The one time Jirou caught the flu was when Yui went into Defcon 1.

Yui made her soup, got her medicine, massaged her back, shoulders, feet, and hands, got her homework, DID her homework, and played guitar for her. Repeat everyday until she’s well again and for two days after that just to be sure.

They don’t have their own wardrobes anymore, it’s just one combined wardrobe held in two different dorms at this point.

This despite the fact that Yui and Jirou have very different clothing styles.

Sufficed to say people are a little more than confused when they saw Yui in a spiked leather jacket with patches sewn on and Jirou in a fluffy pink dress covered in bows.
