Hey Writers!

It’s that time again - posting day! Your fics should start going up today. Multi-chaptered stories can post at whatever schedule you want, as long as chapter 1 is up today. If you have an AO3 account, please post them there and add them to the collection:

If you don’t have an AO3 account, that’s fine! Just send us an email, tumblr message, or post on the FF.Net forum with a link to your story so one of the mods can add your fic to the collection manually.

Hey all,

Both mods have been a little harried with real life stuff the past couple weeks, so (at least in my case) I’ve let my modly duties slip a bit. I’d like to apologise and make sure everyone’s gotten in touch with their Bang partners. The pinch hit list will go out this afternoon.

Hey Artists!

We’re really sorry for the delay - we hoped to get everything sorted and matched up by now, but Tumblr has eaten two of our writers’ summaries and we’re waiting on them to re-send. We’ll put up the summaries as soon as they’re ready, and if they’re not in by the end of the day Friday, we’ll put up the summaries we do have anyway.

Writers, submit your summaries if you haven’t already! Artists, summaries will go up for claiming as soon as all summaries are in.

So how exactly do the summaries work?

So the general idea is that you send in an ask / submission or send us an email ( [email protected] ) with a brief summary, including rating and any trigger warnings. 

From there, the artists will send in asks and/or emails claiming which summary they would like to do art for. We (the mods) will put the artist and author in touch, so they can work out details.

Just a reminder that authors should message this blog on Sunday to let us know they’ve written at least 4,000 words for their fic!

Hey all! Signups are over, so authors can start working on their fics. Artists, you’ll be picking fics in just over a month. Good luck, everyone, and make sure to have fun!

If writers want to drop out, you can do so any time before the artists pick their fic on October 1. For artists who want to drop out, please do so before the author/artist review session that begins on November 1.
