Let trans boys be boys
If you identify as a trans guy, you are a trans guy! it doesn't matter how you present, if you love make up and live your life in full glam, you are still a guy. Grow out your hair, look the way you want, it doesn't matter as long as you are happy!
Ps. Anyone who says you aren't a dude(if that is how you identify at the time) no matter how you look, can fight me, and I will win - sincerely your new over protective dad kolby
Pps. Go clean your room
A Note On The Importance Of Using The Correct Pronouns
Something just happened that I feel the need to write about. I’m trans. This is an undisputed fact. Most cis people don’t really notice their pronouns. Maybe they get upset when people call them the wrong one a bit, but they don’t really think about it, just “no I’m ‘insert pronoun here’ ”. But when you’re trans you pretty much always notice. When people missgender you, it sucks. A lot. But we are kind of forced to correct people and move on, because that’s what is expected of us. It always feels like a sucker punch to the stomach, at least for me. When it’s you family, it’s way worse. No matter if you’re family is accepting or not, it is just worse. Some are much more forgiving of it if their family is accepting and messes up, than they are of other people, as your family has known you the longest before you came out. Most of my family is accepting. But my dad’s parents struggle a bit with me. My grandfather is in denial, and it sucks. But my grandmother at least usually “tries” to make the effort. She constantly missgenders me and gets annoyed by us (dad and I) correcting her. I have seen her bond with someone I know over the fact that they can’t get my pronouns right and they kept validating each other’s mistakes instead of trying to correct each other or themselves, even when I mentioned it. But that’s not what this is about. The fact is, she messed up a little bit ago, and then when I tried to correct her, she screamed “I don’t care”. Let me give you, to the best of my abilities, what that felt like. I felt like I was stabbed in the chest, then punched in the throat, and then pushed off a cliff by my own family member. You might dismiss that as an exaggeration, but that is genuinely what it felt like.
Tldr, please don’t push off your trans friend’s attempts to correct you. Please. If we love you, platonically, like family, or any other way, it hurts like nothing else. And we might not say it, but it crushes us. We can tell when you are trying, and we always appreciate it, even if we don’t seem like it. Even if we correct you constantly, it’s because we don’t want to be constantly missgendered by our loved one.

For trans* people who feel they are invalid in their identity for whatever reason
You are valid, no matter how you present, how you act, if you are in the closet or out. Your identity is yours to define, and yours to exist in. No matter what anyone else says. You are Valid, and You are Loved.
Mod Applications
Hey guys, so currently all of the mods are rather low on spoons or graduating, and Ashton doesn’t have service, so we are having trouble answering all of the asks as well and as quickly as we would like, so I’m going to be taking mod applications.
You will need to put your name, pronouns, preferably age, and why you want to help run this blog to apply.
send your application preferably through private messaging, or asks to my main blog @kolby-alexander

Holy shizballs guys!!!!
We're almost to 2000 followers this completely blows my mind! Thank you guys so much!
I got really close to breaking a transphobe's nose
I really really wanted to, but violence is best to avoid if possible, at least I won't need to see him till next school year, in other news Ashton and I just finished the last day of the school year, so we should be able to answer asks more frequently -mod Kolby
I was going to take a day, but I thought I should make this clear
we will stand by our mods’ decisions. I’m super white, so I’m not exactly an authority figure in this discussion, but this blog will side with our mods, and deffinitely not with the frickin people sending anonymous hate, instead of actual arguments not based entirely off of insults. I’m sorry to the people who follow us who would rather not have to see this sort of thing, we don’t usualy receive this much horrible backlash and biased hatred. I will go through and make sure that all of this will be tagged with the tag tw/ discourse for anyone who wishes to blacklist it, and I will try to make sure that it is tagged in the future as well. I hope this blows over soon.
