i shouldve known that people would make fidget toys the next big ableist joke that “no we dont mean Actual disabled people” even though these kinds of jokes literally always effect disabled people and never nondisabled people that are allegedly being targeted by the jokes

like can we stop excusing ableism just because it was a disabled person perpetuating it its still ableism trans people can be transphobes gay people can be homophobes disabled people can be ableist your presence in a group does not excuse you from harming it you joking in private is Not The Same as posting on tumblr and having it circulate to Actual Fucking Neurotypical Able Bodied Ableists

im not sure people on this site fully understand what theyre doing when they go around intentionally triggering people for funsies and then teasing them for it behind the safety of their virtual reality net.
cuz i assure yall if u were face to face with that person youd think twice, because the reality of someone going through an intentionally triggered episode based on some of their Worst triggers is ugly and terrifying and people end up hurt.
so if you wouldnt do it face to face because you know that person would probably freak out and hurt themself or others, why would you do it here just because you dont have to witness the reaction?
