Hello, it’s been a while 😳
So as you may have guessed, this blog is pretty much inactive now. To make a long story short, I’m not really active on Tumblr anymore. I do still use it every now and then, but I don’t really actively post like I used to.
I’ll keep this blog up because I did find it fun to post on (and let’s be fair Kiibo is adorable every day) but I can’t guarantee I’ll make anymore posts on here. I may stop by every now and then, but it likely won’t be often.

i know the posts (reblogs) here are infrequent but in case you havent yet, please sign the petition at save.tf here. it takes just a moment and its going to be physically delivered to valve with as many signatures as possible. its still getting tens of thousands daily, lets keep the momentum going!
the site outlines it for those unfamiliar, but if youre a team fortress 2 fan then simply put this is our second attempt to grab valve's attention over the rampant bot crisis in casual mode. you likely heard of #savetf2 in 2022. #fixtf2 is our firm doubling down on the issue.
there are countless videos you can watch with new uploads daily across hundreds of channels on youtube. but i want to really highlight a select few here.
heres how bad it really gets with real world consequences. bothosters doxxing people outspoken about the issue, issuing ddos attacks, even ai voice impersonation. its ugly and life-ruining type shit. and its all happening on VALVE'S OFFICIAL SERVERS.
these videos below illustrate the situation on a larger scale by going down to the number of conflated numbers. spoiler warning, and i quote, "about 70% of steam's reported player count is bots." (this video is nearly an hour long but if youd like that breakdown thats it.)
same creator a month later finding bots under the same hosts where they sort of just hide in plain site on steam:
on a personal note, team fortress 2 is incredibly important to jasper and myself (the mods of this blog). i met jasper through this wonderful community more than ten years ago. we likely wouldnt be mutuals if not for team fortress 2, and this blog obviously wouldnt exist either. this community deserves better than this. the goal of #fixtf2 isnt about a lack of updates. tf2 is otherwise perfectly fine as it is. we just want our game to be playable again and for the bots to go.
