Much like how canon Jasper looks down on Steven for having had to rely on his friends to beat her, Momswap Jasper has a bit of a complex about asking others for help (even her own team-mates) because, as the de facto leader of the Crystal Gems since Steven was born, she felt like she always had to be strong for the sake of the team
