MOD AQUA

Role: Head mod, shipping, printing, layout, graphics

Experience: Oh geez, I’ve been a part of a lot of zines (for the full list you can check here) and am helping mod a bang currently (for which I am also a graphics mod, check it out here). This is gonna be my first big project though! The zine I’ve headed before was a simple e-zine so here’s to new experiences! I do table at conventions and get my stuff for a big discount at a local printer (part of why I’ll be doing the printing and shipping) and I’m confident that they’ll be able to produce a quality zine that everyone can enjoy! 

Why you love Invader Zim: Its just weird enough to be funny! I love the art style too, very uneasy-feeling. Though Enter the Florpus did re-design the characters so they’re more...dare I say appealing? Than the old tv show, a part of me misses the weird pastiness and grim feeling the tv show had. 

Favorite Invader Zim Character(s): Dib!

Role: Finance and General

Experience: This is my first zine, but I have a lot of experience working with finances on and offline! I take monthly classes on payroll accounting and how to use websites like PayPal and Stripe, and have managed both my own commissions and several creators in the She-Ra fandom’s commissions.

Why you love Invader Zim: The humor is something that really resonates with me and Zim and Dib’s rivalry is so much fun to watch! 

Favorite Invader Zim Character(s): Gir! He’s a funny pubby.

Experience: I am currently a mod over at bat-famzine! 

Why you love Invader Zim: I love invader zim because of its sense of humor and distinct art style! 

Favorite Invader Zim Character(s): When I would watch invader zim as a kid my favorite was always Dib and that is still true till this day!

Experience: I am currently an intern mod for the Girl Power! BNHA zine.

Why you love Invader Zim: I used to watch it as a kid. I remember really loving Gir and that love still exists to this day. The Enter the Florpus movie made me fall back in love and I am excited to be a part of a zine dedicated to IZ!

Favorite Invader Zim Character(s): Oh boy. I love all of my children. I would say I relate the most with Gaz, though.
