Tw physical abuse, weapons, threats, religious abuse, cult mention
does it count as physical abuse if they never hit you but threatened to beat/hit you, grabbed you by the arm once, cornered you physically multiple times, broke into your room with a knife? is it valid to call that physical abuse even if there were never any bruises or hitting and it wasn’t an everyday occurrence? and is it valid to call something religious abuse if they forced you into churches or threatened to make u homeless if you don’t go, tried to push a religion on u, called you bad things for not going to the church, said all other people other than Christians are going to hell and so are we if we dont, and then when at the church they taught lgbtphobia, and not to do a lot of things like cursing, listening to music and movies other than Christian ones, because satan is all around and will get you through them? Is that the start of a cult? even if they dont make u go now and u didn’t go much

Religious abuse, also known as spiritual abuse, is when religious beliefs are used to manipulate, dominate and degrade others. It is valid to call what you went through religious abuse. Threatening homelessness can also fall into neglect and emotional abuse.
