hiya there! It's mod Sisyphus, back at it again! Now, you may be wondering where we've been, and all we have to say is We Got Distracted LOL. We have been VERY busy lately, and have been occupied with life stuff and other projects (such as a phighting self insert fic, or our Cruel King Phightsekai fic or... we have a lot of phighting fics). Along with that, we're still trying to get our footing after finally getting out of school.

We will (hopefully) (maybe) try and become more active on this blog when we can. Who knows, honestly, we probably will get distracted again. That's it for this little update, we hope you all have a great day/night!

yello. little changes to my demigods au that i wanna settle

1) ice dagger's creations are more akin to ice golems that randomly come to life instead of proper demigods. ice crossbow wouldve been 35 or so, winter greatsword wouldve been around 50

2) darkheart. i forgot about darkheart in the first one. anyhow not allowed to make little bastards because if not they'd have a stupid amount running around.

ban hammer and winter were a one-sided friendship before the latter's death. she was SOMEHOW even more annoying than him (though not as cocky) and he hated her (like a hypocrite).

the phighting fixation hit again with the phestival (I’m actually way too scared to do it tho uhhh) and so I do more for remastering TPAU a bit !! :)

this specific big ol dump will be about the factions and general worldbuilding for the inphernals :3 it might not be worded well in some areas I’m kinda tired and have been listening to circle circle dot dot on loop this entire time 👍 but tpau is back yay bird au

Starting with how inphernals look here I suppose :)

There are technically two classes of inphernal, but the most prominent are Pheathereds. Pheathereds are classified by wings, talons, and feathers regarding a certain bird. They can be any bird, though there are more common and more rare ones. It also depends a lot based on faction (for instance, you’d never see a kingfisher in Lost Temple but they’re relatively common in Playground+Thieves’ Den!) Pheathereds take up most of the population. The other classification doesn’t matter because they’re hardly even ever seen. Ghosdeeri and Lightblox both fit under this classification, though they’re really just some of the only ones. Typically, a Pheathered’s appearance is based around their bird and faction. But the appearances that fit throughout them all are: Bird wings, feathers coating their body, sharp claws and talons, and typically bird tail feathers, though there have been very rare cases of other tails. They also have hollow bones to compensate for their wings, which makes injury much more common.

Now for the factions and general worldbuilding :3 yay

Starting with Blackrock!

Blackrock is relatively the same in the sense of climate. An arctic mountain range region. Most of the civilizations are very widely spread in this place, though the most popular ones are closer together. The city most think of when thinking about Blackrock is situated on one of the tallest mountains (named Crow’s Climb after the Pheathered who reached the top being a crow), and it’s the main place of technology. The faction is very tech-oriented, and has the most put-together military. Most of the inphernals found here are birds of prey or corvids, with some examples of other birds, though that’s a lot less common. Usually the inhabitants wear very fluffy clothes and have thick feathers for survival. One of the biggest diversions from the canon for this faction is the fact that Biografts are not the main military. Subspace T. Mine did create them, yes, but most of them, instead of having bird wings, instead have the flying squirrel wings. This is because it’s much cheaper to mass-produce, and most of the time it’s much too clunky and buggy for them to have fully functioning wings. There are a few Biografts that do have wings, typically the Betagrafts and commissioned lines for high-paying customers, but the Betagrafts are still buggy and the commissioned ones would never be mass-produced. There’s still a very large number of soldiers in the faction, highly trained in aerial combat. Most of the soldiers are birds of prey, though there have been occasions of “lesser birds” being in the ranks. (Zuka) Blackrockian Pheathereds have generally a hard time learning to fly, as the faction is very closed off and not many inphernals commune with each other unless they’re direct family. Because of this, only higher classes of inphernal in this faction can fly. Typically, normal civilians don’t have most capabilities of flight. Blackrock’s patron deity in a sense is Icedagger, though most Blackrockians simply don’t believe in the deities. Darkheart also tends to stay around sometimes in the faction, though sightings of them have been decreased by large margins yearly.

Onto Playground!! <3

Playground is similar in canon, being a collection of large floating islands brought up by Windforce herself. The civilizations are usually big cities on the main islands, though occasionally there’s a house or two away from the cities. The biggest city is the one on the main island, where most inphernals casually living in Playground stay. It has the highest security, being watched by Windforce. The main areas are usually divided into different rings, and typically the outer rings are the ones with the highest crime and gang activity. The faction is certainly the most chaotic, with the highest amount of colorful and flashy birds (most commonly parrots and macaws), though there’s also a lot of fast-flying Pheathereds. Fashion in Playground is very widespread but usually categorized by color and accessories. The faction also has the best market for horn and gear accessories. Playgrounders have a unique tradition. The entire faction is very keen on the ability to fly, so every older Inphernal has to learn to fly to even GET around the faction. There’s a tradition in mostly the main cities, usually called the Rockfall Descent. When an Inphernal is considered an adult, they are tested with their flight capabilities by being dropped off of their island. If they manage to fly, they are allowed back up. Usually, if they can’t, they hit another island and are banished from the main city until they can fly. This is most detrimental to inphernals with complications with their wings, or other injuries or disabilities to stop them from flying. (The biggest example is Rocket. He could not fly because he was spawned with complications with one of his wings, didn’t hit an island. Dropped all the way to Crossroads. Splat.) To improve with flight abilities, there’s a very large underground organization known as the Canaries, that aim to help inphernals from all walks of life, not just Playgrounders, learn to fly. It’s a very infamous group, especially given they’ve successfully on multiple occasions managed to hide inphernals from the tradition so they didn’t get hurt. The group is the biggest in Playground and Blackrock if you know where to look. The patron deity is Windforce. She’s the most involved, being the creator and enforcer of most of the rules. Every Playgrounder knows of her because she is the most seen, if even just to detain someone or for the tradition.

Onto Lost Temple yaya

Lost Temple is a vastly-spanning desert. The civilizations are few and far in-between, though the most known one is the Oasis, which is situated in a very large oasis. The city is also the birthplace of the Church of the TRUE EYE, though the group has since found a different place to stay. Most of the inphernals seen have very light-colored feathers to blend into the sand, and are usually bound to the ground, though there are still a lot that can fly, such as vultures. Usually flight isn’t utilized, since it’s a waste of much-needed energy in the harsh sun. The fashion here is very light and airy to not overheat. The faction is known to be the most spread-out and least friendly to most inphernals. Most of the inphernals who even set up in the faction is either a Church acolyte, rich enough to survive, or newspawns trying their best to live. It definitely has a reputation given how frequent fires break out and how unfriendly it is. The Church thrives in such a place, appearing hospitable to most inphernals they come across in hopes of showing them their practices and hopefully get them roped in. Flight is, again, not utilized almost at all. Most Lost Temple inphernals are either completely flightless or don’t have the right nutrition to fly very far. The biggest example of inphernals that do fly, though, are usually the scavengers that roam outside the civilizations. Most of the time, they’re vultures or owls. Their patron deity is Firebrand, though this was only shown with the fires that would ravage cities. Since a large part of the Oasis was burnt down, Firebrand has since been completely MIA.

Thieves’ Den !!! :)

Thieves’ Den is the most welcoming faction on the surface. A very tightly-knit faction of mostly jungle-roaming birds or coastal birds. There are few civilizations due to how inhospitable most areas are, though the most well-known is in the heart of the region, in a clearing with a large lake. Usually, the clothing of the inhabitants are also colorful, like Playground, but much more naturally colorful, with floral patterns. There’s also commonly clothing to blend in with the jungles. Despite it seeming friendly, the faction is still called Thieves’ Den for a reason. It’s harsh unless you’re in a village, and even then it’s the most infamous faction for pickpockets and scams. Despite this, it also has the biggest reputation for fishing, and has the most popular market for horn dyes seen in every other faction. Most inphernals can fly, though tree-climbing is much more common if you’re not living by the coastal edge of the region. The faction is still friendly, so most of the time there’s an inphernal to help someone learn… granted, they’re not spawned in the middle of the jungle. They don’t really have a true patron deity, there has at most been words of a former one that has long since been lost to time. However, the deity that’s most associated with the faction is Illumina.

Crossroads timeeee

It’s the most compact faction, and even then more one city than an actual faction, being established in the space between all the factions where most factions didn’t want to expand to. It’s seen as the middle-ground for everything, where most inphernals can make a life for themself even if all they have are the wings on their back and five Bux in their pocket. It’s by far the most inclusive, even if the way the city is laid out is cramped. The clothing is a mix of all the factions, really. You can find something for everyone, even some more ambitious works of mashing some factions together. There’s no real patron deity, though it’s been heavily regarded that previously Firebrand and now currently Venomshank are the choices. Firebrand is more referred to, though. It has the most activity from multiple deities, even if there’s nobody really running it.

Every faction has a seal for mail or other important things to differentiate. Every seal has a species of bird on it, or sometimes just the faction symbol. The birds to represent the seals are: Crossroads- Typically seen with a phoenix or dove, Thieves’ Den- Split between kingfisher for the coastal parts and hummingbird for the more inland parts (though the hummingbird one is usually much more associated), Blackrock- Eagle, Lost Temple- Black Vulture, and Playground- Secretary Bird

Okay it's called 'Crash landing'

If you don't get any of the Genshin lore I'm sorry, it's based (sorta?) around Natlan, and it was made around 29th September?

Yes this is a Genshin Impact x PHIGHTING! Au

A dark red hole appears below the Crossroads tower, where the Phighters and the Flipside were gathered to discuss something. They all fall in, and before anybody can rush in to take a look, the hole is sealed with these weird dark red squares. The Inpherno dubbed this incident 'The vanishing', and the deities are panicking, since, well, 4 demi-deities also went missing.

🚨 WEE WOO WEE WOO SPOILER ALERT FOR THE NATLAN ARCHON QUEST! 🚨

After breaking the fake moon and the illusion of the sky, Mavuika and the rest of Natlan watch as some.. Weird, rainbow coloured fragments come from the hole and crash down around Teyvat. A large explosion comes from somewhere in Ochkanatlan.

The barrier that protected Teyvat from other universes is gone.

The gods are alerted.

Chaos shall ensue

I only have a few things planned, such be a rough time line, who's landing in one region, and who's getting a vision. Nobody is going to Snezhnaya since it's not released with miminal lore.

Who's where:

Mondstadt:

Valk, landing at Stormbearer Peak, slightly far away from the city. He's starting to panic, where's Dom?

Coil and Skateboard are together, landing on Starfell beach. Since the impact sound was loud, since there's two, the Favonious knights found them and were wondering why they were grey and had horns. On the other hand, Coil and Skate are wondering why they were a weird peachy colour, and where were their horns?

Liyue:

Slingshot and Shuriken landed at Dunyu ruins, were on edge, hiding in ruins and behind buildings. There were these scary people who were wearing masks, roaming the area. Sure, they were Phighters, but no way in hell they could take three tanky looking things!

Rocket landed straight in the center of Liyue harbor, people gathering around the dust cloud. Rocket, sensing that he was being crowded, blasted up and away from the city. He's hiding in Mt. Tianheng.

Inazuma:

A weird robot is roaming around Inazuma city, not stopping in its tracks as it looked for.. Something. A bright magenta ping occurs every five seconds in its core. It's looking for it creator.

Katana feels right at home here in the city. He's getting weird looks for his horns and mask, sure, but the residents are getting used to his appearance, since he's polite. He doesn't mind this place, but he'd like to check up on his neighbours and friend. He has seen the Biograft, but he doesn't meddle with Blackrock.

Sumeru:

Vinestaff is in the bioluminesent forest of Lokapala Jungle. She loves to tend to the plants, and has actually come across Collei and Tighnari, the forest watchers. They're giving her a place to stay, in exchange for tending to the plants. But her worry for Shuri, Sling and Katana is growing quickly.

Sword landed to the west of the Dune of Elysium. The desert heat is nothing to him, as he wanders around the sand. It's all the same. But he hasn't seen any other people in hours. Where is everyone?

Fontaine:

Medkit had landed at Elynas, but he quickly made his way to the city. As soon as he described the situation to Chevreuse, who was on patrol that day, she understood the situation, and quickly took him to the Opera house for help, since this wasn't a species from Teyvat. Wait was that-

Subspace. He's already dismantled a bunch of Clockwork meka for their parts, and is trying to make a Biograft out of them in an abandoned section the Fontaine research institute.

Banhammer landed somewhere else, but is currently in the Fortress of Meropide. Wriothesely has taken a liking to the warden, despite his horns. He has an admirable work ethic and is dedicated to keeping the order of the law.

Natlan:

Boombox had landed in the people of the Springs, and had immediately taken a liking to the vibe and relaxation. He's playing the right music for the tribe, and is having an amazing time with Mualani. She's realised that B.B wasn't a human, but she didn't mind. He was here for the vibes, and that was okay!

Why this mercenary so mad bruh. Hyperlaser was in Ochkanatlan, if that rings a bell, and had quickly perched and taken out the abyss and hilichurls there. Let's just say that there's a noticeable dent in the hilichurl population.

Nod-krai:

Scythe had crash landed in Paha Isle, directly beside the Fatui institute. She, of course, got taken in by the Fatui. But you shouldn't let the most dangerous outlaw into the heart of your facility, should you? She quickly broke out, getting a fair reputation already. I guess it's just habit.

Dom had landed on Lempo Isle, between Klink Klank Krumkake Workshop (yes that's the name) and Nasha Town. With some effort and pure instincts, he skidded down to Starshoal shore and is now in hiding, trying to escape both the Light keepers and Ineffa. Which is a hard thing, actually, so props to him.

Uhm, okay, this is getting long. Sorry about that. I'm going to quickly say who will get a Vision, and that'll be it. When the lore is more fleshed out with a proper timeliness, I'll come back! Bye bye!
