Insane idea perhaps, but I'm starting to wonder if I should write a book. Most of the books on vampire culture I've picked up involve a lot of magic and/or poorly understood Egyptian mythology. I'm not Christian, I'm not Kemetic, and I have no interest in being either of those things.

I understand why they're so heavily rooted in the overarching culture, but I've never really been part of the wider vampire community. The things I value because of being a vampire, and the things I have learned by being a vampire, seem rarely if ever addressed.

And I am capable of writing a book. So.

Technically speaking, The Crow isn't a vampire movie. However it is 100% a cornerstone goth movie and has a lot of tropes and motifs I recognize from other vampire media, so I think it counts as honorary.

The Hunger is another cornerstone goth movie, from what I know, and also seems to be one of the many origins of the ankh as a symbol of vampires, so I'm going to watch that tonight.

Would anyone want a Real Life Vampire™️'s review on vampire movies? I'm a writer, not really a movie expert, and I'm not in any clans or whatnot, but I know my way around a plot and I drink actual blood. I'm also willing to consider movie recommendations.
