deltarune chapter 5 spoilers

i dont trust a single person who uses "they" for mew mew unless it's exceedingly obvious they're referring to pink and mew mew as the two individuals. scared of correctly gendering the canonically trans female character? lmfao?

I had a dream/nightmare that upon completing Deltarune, Gaster would say "WELL DONE. WE HAVE REACHED AN ENDING. AS A REWARD, I WILL ALLOW YOU TO WITNESS THE ORIGINAL STORY IN ITS ENTIRETY SHOULD YOU WISH." After which, you would unlock a new game+ called "The Unaltered Tale", which basically removed Susie and put Noelle into the role of the second hero.

idk how to say this without sounding bitter but like… I hate Chester Holiday. he's lowkey the embodiment of fandom misogyny/androcentrism. like ppl literally invented a random Holiday brother gave him dess's personality / role in the plot so they could sideline Dess a canon female character with narrative weight and replace her with a guy who can be shipped yaoi style. it feels like another case of fandom bending over backwards to prioritize male characters evan ones who don't exist while erasing or downplaying women in the story. The straw that broke the cables back was seeing multiple people make Chester knight headcannons and fanart when a) he doesn't fucking exist b) the most likely knight candidates are both female and Chester knight feels fandom attempting to like erase them.

I unironically ship Spamton A. Spamton x Tenna.

Not G. Spamton.

A. Spamton.

Hear me out.

So, if you're not well-versed in the Spamton Value Network lore, lemme basically just say:

In-universe, Spamton A. Spamton is the real Wayne, seemingly kidnapped and presumably brainwashed (based off of missing posters for Wayne and a wanted poster for Spamton) and, of course, he's made into a worshiper. Wayne himself has called Spamton A. Spamton G.'s indentured servant in some streams.

So, Spamton A. Spamton is forced to broadcast, as you may know, a lot of death threats about specifically Tenna because Spamton's upset about the divorce still.

Imagine how insanely funny it would for Spamton A. Spamton to broadcast death threats to Tenna... Then spend their nights on the phone, kicking their legs as they talk to Tenna.

You cannot tell me that isn't insanely funny.

And, of course, you get into plot ideas like Tenna being the one to save Spamton A. Spamton from this hell he's been brought into. And just a lot of cool moments regardless of how you look at it.

I somewhat resent Tenna because he singlehandedly made every Spamton tag on Tumblr go from "incredible art and analyses about the nature of being controlled, and how horrifying it would be to be nothing more than a puppet on strings" to just "doomed yaoi."

Spamton was my favorite character before chapters 3+4, and I loved looking at the art and theories people made about him. But now all of that is buried under literal mountains of Spamtenna art.

People used to joke that the secret bosses of chapters 3+4 would overshadow Spamton and make him completely irrelevant, like Spamton did to Jevil, but it turned out that Tenna would be the one to do that by reducing Spamton to just "Tenna's ex who also got a shadow crystal."

Sure, chapter 3 explained a lot of things about Spamton we were confused about, but it feels like people consider Spamton a solved mystery when he's far from it. Like, now that we know FRIEND is likely the one messing with the secret bosses, why aren't we talking about how Spamton's glasses are almost exactly the same as FRIEND's eyes? This is proof that Spamton, at the very least, has seen FRIEND.

Sorry if this is too long, I just needed to get this off my chest. Spamtenna is fine and all, it isn't completely my cup of tea, but there's more to Spamton's character than just his relationship with Tenna.
