Hey there~ I was helping Mod Saemoni with this one, sorry it took so long~ Anyways, I hope you enjoy this, it was fun to write! Except the formatting. It took so long to fix everything T.T

Yoosung

Poor baby, he gets scared pretty easily and if he sees a horror movie or plays a horror game, he won’t sleep for days because of the nightmares

He doesn’t mind that MC likes this stuff tho, just he prefers not to join her when she’s watching something that involves horror

About exploring scary places, sometimes, MC begs him to join her, she actually is afraid of going alone

This is the moment when Yoosung puts aside his scariness and goes with MC

Once they went to an abandoned school (yeah, if normal school is terrifying for Yoosung, this one would make him cry)

There was one time when both got really scared because they heard noises and saw things moving

It was Seven, pranking both of them

Halloween, man, this was MC’s favorite holiday.

She loves wearing scary costumes

Yoosung is not a fan of this day because of his scariness.

He simply waits for MC to come back home with lots of candies that both can eat (she got them mostly from scaring people and letting them throw their bags)

Jaehee

She doesn’t care at all about horror, since she never had time to do anything else besides studying and later working

Actually, when MC and she started living together, she began watching horror movies, shows, documentaries, and going to scary places, just to spend time with MC

Even tho she’s been in more contact with horror, she doesn’t like it at all, not because she’s scared, she thinks every movie is dumb, the documentaries are false, and the scary places are simply places that haven’t been used in a while

The only thing that actually scares her that MC enjoys are the ouija related movies, or playing it (this is based on myself as a religious person), she thinks something bad will happen if people play with that and all the spirits stuff

Zen

Surprisingly, he really likes horror stuff too

At first he was nervous to show that to MC because he thought she didn’t like that at all

He finds out one night when MC asks him to go with her to an abandoned orphanage

After that they both go visit weird, strange, and scary places

He’s more coward than MC tho

While watching movies she’s the one who hugs him while he covers his eyes

She kisses him every time he jumps a bit to comfort him

About games, that’s the only thing that MC does that Zen’s not interested, he thinks it looks faker than movies

Still, he enjoys watching his love playing, getting scared and watch her be tense almost all the time

Jumin

This guy at first doesn’t like the idea

He has this idea that everything about horror is exaggerated and dumb

After beginning to date MC, he becomes indifferent of all that, still doesn’t like it, but won’t complain about that

When MC wants to go out and explore scary places, Jumin goes with her because he’s a gentlemen and wants to make sure she’s okay

If MC wants to watch a horror movie or play a horror game, Jumin would rarely join her, he prefers working, but allows MC to have Elizabeth the 3rd as her companion while Jumin’s not there

Seven

Despite being a really religious person, he freaking loves horror stuff, any kind, from dumb movies to possessions related horror

He absolutely loves setting up scenes and sets to scare MC. Building bots, designing ambient sounds, setting up cameras.

He and MC have a long-running war going on between the two to see who can scare the other more

There’s a scoreboard on the front of the refrigerator. Seven is currently winning.

Seven’s latest point was to put ants in MC’s toothpaste

MC’s latest score was to leave tiny plastic baby hands on top of all of Seven’s keyboards

Not fake babies, just their hands

He loves going ghost hunting the best. Setting up all of the recording equipment and sassing the non-corporeal interlopers, and shrieking when something whispers back

I swear MC, it talked to me! They definitely said ‘You’re next’! Wait, don’t leave me alone here! I’m gonna get possessed!

He hits higher notes than MC. That boy has a set of lungs on him, let me tell you

V

He doesn’t like horror very much. The screaming is too loud, the gore looks fake, the camera is too shaky (please do not let him watch any found footage videos. He despises them, spends the whole movie criticizing all of the camera work. Even if he doesn’t deal in video footage there are some things you just don’t do with a camera apparently)

He refuses to experience the psychological or suspense horror. He doesn’t mind if you watch it, but he does appreciate some warning so he can stay away from all of that. It is Not His Thing ™

This leads to some pretty intense debate when you have a movie night. You want Horror, V would prefer something indie, though likely as not it’s in French

And neither of you speak that language

He doesn’t mind going to haunted houses with you when they’re in season. Though you can’t see it because it’s so dark, he blushes every time you jump and grab his hand

He mostly accepts it because of the Fall Aesthetic though. He’d be just as happy doing the cheesy hay rides and such, but if getting spooked makes you happy…

He strongly objects to the urban exploration. The last thing he needs is the call to get you bail because you were trespassing, or worse.

He only does this because he doesn’t want you to get hurt. Hemakes you promise to keep to public property or get permission from the landowner before ‘breaking into’ abandoned factories, hospitals, etc. It’s just safer all around that way.

Anon Asks: RFA reacting to an MC with a fuck ton of cats

Hey there y’all. The excitement is great, almost 100 followers. We’re planning on doing something for the big event, and there will be a poll posted sometime on Saturday with a couple options for y’all to choose from. We’re all really happy that someone likes our writing (like wow, we never expected this~) and we’re so honored that y’all decided to join us in our fun. Anyways, have another head canon, y’all~

Yoosung -When he finds out that you have cats he’s excited to meet them -Until MC asks him to come over and meet them -MC starts listing off names while pointing out which is which -Yoosung knows that cats are social animals, they like having friends -but for the apartment where MC is living, this is too many furry friends -Yoosung finally just asks how many cats you have -6? That’s...a lot of cats. But momma cat had 5 kittens, and if you can’t find homes for them you’re certainly not going to kick them out on the streets -Yoosung knows the feeling, you can’t just abandon them. They’re a family. -Once he gets to see the cats together, chilling out and not acting stressed he settles down -He becomes a cat whisperer, spending time over at MC’s place is really helping him learn about feline behavior -It takes him a while, but he does learn all their names, even though he always gets Tootsie and Footsie mixed up.

Zen -Nope -No -Why did you think this was a good idea again? -He loves you, very very much, and he’s willing to try for you. He’s not going to ask ‘me or them’, he’s afraid of what the answer might be -He doses himself with allergy meds and braves the fray, and knocks on your door -He braces himself for the sneezing -MC greets him and he walks into the living room -and screams -It was a very manly scream, and he would like you to know he heroically jumped in front of MC to defend his lady from the demons -Wow Zen, I’ve never heard anyone call my cats a shriveled pack of goblins before -With their big floppy ears and bald wrinkly faces they do look like goblins, or bats -They are the ugliest things he has ever seen. But he’s not going to tell MC that. -And it just so happens that they’re hypoallergenic. Zen’s allergies don’t act up around them. -He refuses to admit that he likes them though. He’d never hear the end of it from Jumin. -Jaehee, however, does have a photo of Zen sleeping on the couch with Fizzles sleeping in the crook of his arm, courtesy of MC

Jaehee -Jaehee knows you have cats, she’s seen the traces of fur on your clothes -But she doesn’t expect there to be so many of them -She stops and stares in shock at the 4 kittens chasing each other around the coffee table -and what is apparently their mother cleaning another 2 in a fluffy cat bed -And the biggest, meanest looking cat she’s ever seen lounging across the back of the couch in a patch of sunlight -Before she works herself up into righteous indignation MC heads her off -I know you don’t care for cats, but only Victoria belongs to me. The rest of them are foster cats from the shelter, here to be socialized for future homes -Now Jaehee appreciates community service. It’s important to help out causes that are important to you -But did it really have to be cats? -So long as Jaehee isn’t responsible for their care (and MC is very practiced at handling their charges) she doesn’t mind that much -And it obviously makes MC happy -And they both cry when it’s time to send the batch of kittens off to their new homes

Jumin -Unfortunately, Jumin had to be away on business -MC was kind enough to offer to take care of Elizabeth the 3rd -He hated leaving them both all alone -So it was a suitable arrangement -Especially when MC told him they had cats of their own -He worried about Elizabeth the 3rd. How would she handle meeting the other cats? -But he trusted MC to know how to properly handle the situation -When he got back he went directly to MC’s apartment, he wanted to surprise them -But he certainly didn’t expect that -Elizabeth the 3rd was cuddled up with a beautiful orange male, they were grooming each other, as a tortoiseshell looked on jealously -Instant protectiveness -After MC greeted him, they opened up a can of cat food and another 3 sets of eyes magically appeared around corners, before they slunk around the edges of the room to their dishes, one of them looking painfully round -MC was more than happy to explain that they had a business breeding calico and tortoiseshell cats -They really knew a lot about their cats. While he knew about Elizabeth the 3rd, there was a lot he didn’t know about cats in general. -He was more than happy to support them, and in return MC was more than happy to let her pets test out any of his feline products -They had a system, and it worked

Seven -For a while MC wouldn’t even let Seven over -He knew she had cats -They said that they couldn’t handle a lot of stress -And that’s okay, not every cat wants to play all the time -But eventually MC relented -but he had to promise to leave them alone -He was just so excited when he drove over -Until he got in and saw them -They were all so old, or thin, or sick -MC had a deal with the local shelter, they called MC’s apartment the ‘Hospice for Hopeless Cats’ -He was so proud of her, taking care of all these lost causes -It still didn’t stop him from tossing around a few toys to the energetic ones -and when Sir Purrcival decided to chase his headphone wires -That just made his week

Saeran -He didn’t understand why people wanted pets -She certainly never allowed them -So when MC offered to introduce him he was wary -He wanted to get away from Saeyoung though -He was feeling smothered -After MC reassured Saeyoung that there wouldn’t be any problems, he was released with an embrace -He stared at MC. He didn’t know what to say. Was he supposed to apologize? How do you even say “I’m sorry for kidnapping you?” -MC just smiled at him, and led him into the living room. Apparently he’s not supposed to say anything. -They handed him a ziploc bag full of green...what sort of spice was this? It didn’t smell like oregano... -There was a rush of bodies low to the ground at the door -He shrunk back into the couch, and went completely still -The bodies resolved to be cats, and they were very interested in the bag he was holding -It was a swarm, and they weren’t particularly picky over where they were standing. -One of them thrust their face inside and almost knocked it out of his hands before MC took pity on him -“Tiberius, don’t be rude to our guest!” They pulled the tall, obnoxious cat away. “Feel free to push them away if they get too nosy, they know their manners. They just forget them when they get excited sometimes.” -Well doesn’t that sound familiar. Despite himself, Saeran felt a grin on his face. -After a while of letting the cats investigate him and the bag of catnip they wandered off -All except for the small one half-perched between his shoulder and the back of the couch cushion -“Oh don’t mind Nugget. She likes to be tall.” He stuck out a hand and let her sniff it in introduction -Nugget then pressed against his hand so forcefully she fell over and slid down into his lap -Where she proceeded to make herself comfy, and started up the cutest purr -And her fur was so soft he couldn’t stop petting her -It was comforting

V -He...doesn’t actually realize that MC has more than one cat -They just never seemed to appear in the same room at the same time -so when he told MC that he really liked how friendly their cat was -MC was all, “I don’t know, I think Andromeda can be kind of rude. Chiron is the nice one.” -“What do you mean the nice one? I thought you only had 1 cat?” -He could just hear MC’s incredulous not-laughter -“I’ve got 5 cats, but they’re siblings, so they’re all pretty identical” -And MC went and collected the cats one by one -Everytime they brought out another cat his jaw dropped lower and lower -And they were pretty identical -He has never felt more embarrassed -How is it that in 3 years no more than 1 of these cats has ever been in the same room as him at a time?

RFA as Classical Gods (not actually an anon ask)

Mod Vem had this idea, and since I’m (Mod Saemoni) a huge nerd for mythology too, I decided to help her. It was real fun to write this HC!

We had so much fun talking about this and trying to come up with the perfect match. Some were much easier than others (tbh we started out with Rika=Hera, no Rika=Snake, hey look at this here...) but I’ll put some honorable mentions down at the bottom. Rika: Apophis. Apophis is the Egyptian Snake god/demon of evil, darkness, and destruction. He plans to kill/destroy Ra (The Sun God) and swallow Ra to become a powerful force that could not be reasoned with or controlled

V: Ra, Sun God, a Creator, and Father of the Gods, he is the nemesis of Apophis, said to have hair of lapis lazuli. Every night Ra travels through the underworld to do battle with Apophis to prevent the destruction of Order. Eventually Ra is seen as not powerful enough, unfit to lead, and abdicates as ruler. 

Saeran: Dionysus, god of Wine/drugs, Ritual Madness, and Religious Ecstasy. He symbolizes the chaotic, dangerous, and unexpected who destroys those who oppose his cult. He is the son of Zeus, king of the gods, and Selene, a mortal woman who could not stand the power of Zeus’s true figure.

Saeyoung: Hermes, Messenger of the gods, God of boundaries, travel, commerce, a trickster god, a god of searches and those who seek things lost or stolen. He is a shapeshifter, blandly cunning, a watcher by night, a thief at the gates who invented many sports of racing. A mediator between the worlds visible and invisible.

Jumin: Hades, God of Wealth and the Underworld. He’s a stern ruler of his domain and faithful husband to Persephone (opposed to Zeus’s infidelities). He is a god of the land and the bountiful mines beneath. He is a lawmaker, and fair to those who do not anger him. Said to be dark hair and pale-skinned, and ‘weeps tears of iron’.

Elizabeth the 3rd: Bastet, goddess of cats, protection, joy, dance, music, and family. Has been depicted atop perfume jars, and is associated with perfumes and elegance. Closely tied to Egyptian Royalty.

Zen: Apollo, god of Music/Poetry/Art, Healing/Medicine, Oracle/Knowledge, and many others. Not only is Zen passionate about his acting, he’s an almost supernaturally quick healer and has equally supernatural prophetic dreams. The Celts associated Apollo with Apollo Cunomaglus, ‘Lord of Hounds’

Jaehee: Hestia, is the Greek Goddess of the home, the family, and the state. She is the Goddess of Order and the processes that keep the world running. Hestia is a virgin goddess, not inclined towards romance. Hestia held the responsibility of preparing and maintaining the home of the Olympians, and whenever an offering was made she would rightfully claim her due honor as her role supporting the others. Hestia’s status as an Olympian is not universal; in some depictions she is relegated to the central hearth (or removed entirely) and Dionysus claims the final throne.

Yoosung: Persephone, is the Goddess of Springtime, Growth, and the Underworld. She is described as being a passive goddess in nature before she goes/is brought to the Underworld. After she becomes Queen of the Realm of the Dead, taking power after her journey into hell, the Earth is chilled and frozen due to the loss of her family. When she returns to the light, warmth is restored. Hence she represents growth and the cycle of rest/retreat necessary for life to carry on. Persephone has a soft spot for true love, when she allows Orpheus to attempt to reunite with his wife. She is in charge of carrying out curses upon her subjects, and shows a strong sense of what is just and right.

Honorable Mentions for Rika: Hera, Aphrodite. Mainly the possessiveness these ladies have for what belongs to them. They were definitely considered more positive forces by their followers (and they didn’t have the same kind of extremes either). Then we figured out the symmetry with the Sun and Ra, and the deal was sealed. V: Odin, mostly because of the half-blind leader who knows more than he tells. But literary symmetry is my lifeblood. Saeran: Nemesis, but I thought it wasn’t fair to define Saeran solely by his rivalry with Saeyoung. He’d be pissed if he found out. Jaehee: Demeter, being more focused on Law and Judiciary, but she was a mother, and I couldn’t resist setting her as one of the ‘virgin goddesses’ seeing as she’s totes excited to stay besties.

It takes a lot of convincing from him to get MC to believe that his hair is natural

They thought he dyed it

For a few weeks Zen dyes the tips of his hair to match MC’s hair color, but soon has to remove it when it comes to work

The paparazzi love gossiping about which hair colour MC gets next

Jaehee

She’d never be able to do it herself. It’s unprofessional

When she starts a coffee shop though, the regulars take bets on what MC’s next color is going to be via tip jars

She worries about how unhealthy it is for your hair

Lets you dye it yourself. She tried to help once, it didn’t end well. She’ll never get the stain off the ceiling

Occasionally she lets you dye a tiny strip of her hair on the back of her neck. It makes her feel like you two match

Jumin

He doesn’t get it. Why would you want to change your hair color?

He’s more than happy to get you the best though

Your hair has never felt better

And the hairdresser can do all the fancy ombre and whatnot

Jumin likes how it made you unique

Seven

He loves your hair

And helping you pick different colors

He let you dye his hair once

Apparently dye doesn’t work very well on redheads

He wanted to go neon green to match you

It just turned black

He used it as an excuse to wear different wigs and ‘go undercover’ until it grew out enough to cut it

Saeran

He doesn’t get the appeal of doing it for fashion, he dyed his so he wouldn’t look like Seven

He likes your hair how it is, though he doesn’t usually say anything

Makes a few snarky comments when you first dye it a new color

But he gets over it

He’s just a grumpy boy

He just blushes when you bleach yours like his. You didn’t tell him that’s what you were doing this time!

Buddhist MC

Thank you for the request, I’m sorry this one took a little longer than I usually need. I had a hard time deciding when I wanted to write this in the various canon timelines, so I had to replay a couple of routes to get some of my facts checked. Thank you for your patience, this was fun to write and research and come up with (despite all of the rumors you may hear to the contrary). Enjoy~

Yoosung -It didn’t really bother Yoosung -He may have been exposed to church through Rika -But you could never really say he was a believer -So when you told him that you were Mahayana -He thought it was really cool, you devoted your life to helping and teaching others -He didn’t really get the whole dukkha bit though, he’s perfectly happy with you -Despite your attempts to explain the nature of transient pleasures, he kept coming back to the argument that if something made you happy, why would it be bad?

Zen -Despite what everyone thinks, he’s not actually buddhist -He chose his name because he liked the ideas though -Meditation to gain insight on the true nature of things sounded a lot like the process he used to get into character -But he’s far too impulsive to adhere to the tenets central to Buddhism -He spends far too much time on the things that make him happy now -And he definitely has his vices that he’s unwilling to give up for some ephemeral ‘wisdom’

Jaehee -She was actually very interested in buddhism in its own right -So when you mentioned that you followed Buddha’s teachings, she was pleased to find something in common -And was very happy to talk about your respective ideas of buddhism when the topic came up -There never seemed to be enough time to meditate properly -Though she made an effort to set aside some time every morning after she left the hectic position of Jumin’s assistant

Jumin -He was the earliest to find out that you practiced buddhism -And the first time you went over to his penthouse he had informed his chef that you were vegetarian -He did his research on the people he cared about -Though sometimes he takes it a little too far -Just because MC is Buddhist does not mean they are planning to join a monastery in Tibet -Nor did you really need to have a private interview with the Dalai Lama, though he had at least asked you beforehand rather than just scheduling the appointment

Seven -I mean, besides immediately going for the jokes about how you can get him Honey Buddha Chips -He’s not very interested in religion anymore -He has you and that’s enough to make him happy. He doesn’t think much about what comes after death. -He’s spent enough time wrestling with that particular demon with his time as an agent -After some late nights with his brother you’ve heard him praying, railing at the god who abandoned him -So, it’s better to just...not bring it up. It’s just tactful

V -He switched from being a Christian to being Catholic for Rika -So religion wasn’t a huge issue for him -Though he’s understandably a little suspicious of organized religions who want to ‘help people find eternal salvation’ now -He’s happy you find solace in it -Eventually he does start talking to you seriously about the how and the whys of it, though he’s confident enough in his own beliefs after his soul-searching and recovery to not feel the need to mimic your decisions

What would each person do if everyone went on a vacation to a private island?

Sorry for formatting, tumblr is just being mean to me. Don’t bother trying to put this in a canon timeline, V is alive, Saeran is there, and so is Rika. Just suspend your disbelief and don’t ask too many questions, it’ll work out better in the long run for you. Anyways, the consensus is as follows:

V is running around the island taking photos and trying to keep Seven from stealing his sunglasses. He refuses to go in the water, but he’s started building an amazing sand castle. It’s got turrets, and crenelations, and a moat. All it needs now is a working drawbridge

Zen is trying to photobomb V’s pictures, and avoid getting sunburned. He cannot tan to save his life. He doesn’t spend much time in the water because it’s bad for his skin. He does take charge of the firepit, as Ellizabeth the 3rd won’t go anywhere near it. He gets in an argument with Jaehee about whether you should drink the fruit available or wear it to improve your skin

Jaehee is taking a well deserved nap, or following Zen at a discreet distance. She’s definitely also prompting him into dramatic reenactments of her favorite scenes. When she isn’t fangirling or being roped into helping Jumin work she’s experimenting with the fancy blenders coming up with the most delicious drinks

Jumin is working via telephone. Until he gets dragged off to relax by V, because he’s the only one who can get him to relax. He’s got Elly with him on a leash in order to protect her from Seven. He’s reading a magazine in a beach chair and keeps appropriating V’s abandoned drinks

Elly is the owner of the island. Jumin bought it for her for her birthday last year. She’s enjoying chasing shadows in the sand, but she doesn’t dare get close enough to the water to get her precious fur wet

Saeran is relaxing in a hammock under some palm trees. He’s got a book and half of a coconut filled with ice cream. Seven cornered him earlier and practically drowned him in sunscreen. He’s got a spot of it on the side of his nose, no one else is brave enough to tell him

Seven is running around setting up pranks for everyone. He’s also a very good swimmer, and is trying to teach everyone else how to surf, with varying degrees of success. Once everyone goes to bed though, he climbs out on the roof to stargaze. You can’t get a view like this from the city

Yoosung is trying to learn how to surf with Seven. It’s not going very well but he’s having a great time. He spends more time in the water than out of it, even if the others keep trying to scare him with stories about sharks. He does some wandering around trying to get an internet connection, even climbing halfway up a palm tree when Jumin threatens to charge him for wifi and Seven refuses to give him the internet password

Rika sits calmly on an inflatable pool ring sipping a drink. Seven keeps sneaking over to tip her into the water but he hasn’t been successful yet. She’s coming up with increasingly high pitched shrieks for when she finally lets her guard down

MC bops around, making sure everyone has a good time. She’s taken over making snacks with Zen and Jaehee. She takes a turn trying to surf, and she’s actually really good at it. Eventually she settles down to help V with the details on his sand castle. Elly sneaks over to take up residence in her new fort and knocks over a tower trying to catch her own tail

Okay Y’all

Us Mods have been really busy these last 2 weeks. Midterms have come up for me personally, as well as other things for each of us. Mostly school related stuff. Boring, but necessary. So, to get back into the swing of things, we’re gonna host a quick AMA. Ask us anything, just please keep it PG-15. It can be from an ask meme, or one of those would-you-press-the-button games, or whatever. We’re ready for you. We’ll answer things as they come in, or if you want to direct your questions towards a specific mod feel free. We’ll save it for them if they happen to not be around at the moment.

Right now it’s just myself and Mod Rikyn hanging out, everyone else is eating dinner and stuff. You know how it goes. Some people just have to fuel their soul prisons with flesh or organo-chemically treated plant organs in their nightly bonding ritual with their progenitors/spawn-mates. As one does.
