It's always a love story. link: [x] mod note: IT’S EVERYTHING I’VE EVER WANTED FROM THE 100 FIC. the author is so ride or die clarke stan and because of that she completely understands clarke. it’s well written clexa, bellamy/clarke as best friends, and is respectful to finn and finn/clarke (i’m so over fics where finn is an evil serial cheater). i just, really love this fic guys?? wow.

Three's all she needed, but when Sasha meets a homeless, pregnant teen by the name of Mikasa, she can't turn her away. link: [x] mod note: i initially put off reading this until it finished, and now that i've read it, i'm glad i did. because i honestly could not stop reading it. i can't imagine waiting for a new chapter every week. it's just so intense and smart. i called the co mod of this blog at nearly every chapter, yelling about some new development. it's just such a brilliant fic, i can't imagine anyone not loving it.

Determined to become the best makeover team in Japan, they give showy makeovers to handpicked girls. As much as Kiri tries to shy away from the Scissors Project spotlight, she finds herself responding to beauty's call... Completed/WIP: Completed; 10 Volumes Overall Rating: 7.5/10 Thoughts: Honestly, I love this manga, but it can be kind of boring. It has a rather large cast and a lot of side stories that aren't relevant to the plot, but generally only Narumi, Kiri, or Ochiai get plot related stories. Still, I love the characters dearly, they all have a lot of development, and it's a really cute manga. Betrayals/Triggers: Love triangle,, bullying, Narumi's actually a tsundere about Kiri for the majority of the manga but in the later volumes he mellows out and isn't as big of a jerk. The main character is triggered at one point during a competition in case that makes anyone uncomfortable. There's also two side stories that briefly mention animal abuse. One of the endgame ships has an age gap of four years, with the younger one being 12 when they first met, but they were only shown to be together in the final chapter. The majority of this manga has to do with makeovers, so there's a lot of focus on appearance and being 'pretty'.

Armin tries to win her over to humanity's side. link: [x] mod note: This fic brought tears to my eyes and made me understand Annie more than the show could hope to do. The author clearly understands Annie, and they write beautifully. I just love it so much I rushed to recommend it.

A Shameless US fic that is Mandy-centric, and goes up to 3x09. link: [x] mod note: i love mandy milkovich. i love everything about her. she's so important to me, and this fic gets her so right. it broke my heart and made me fall in love with mandy all over again. mandy milkovich is so important. trigger warnings for drug and alcohol abuse, suicide, rape, and a lot of other shady stuff that happens in shameless.

But tonight I saw this one and thought why not? And damnit, it sunk it's claws into me. I love the way the author captures Erica and Boyd, the author has clearly gotten into Erica's head, and I love it.

He writes her anonymous messages in the bimonthly newspaper. link: [x] mod note: i love love love this author. she's my favorite percabeth writer. she likes to write them in an AUs and they're always really compelling. for someone that co-runs a fic rec blog, i'm really lazy about reading fics, so trust me when i say i've read nearly all of her fics, but this one is my absolute favorite.
