Yes ofc!! As long as they're not a human from Earth, they're fair game for completing a Lanternuary prompt by themselves (and as I've said before, human Lanterns can totally appear as long as they're accompanied by an alien from the GL franchise). In fact, I (mod Simu) am probably going to post a Guardian/human ship drawing at some point this month :3

AAAAAAAND that’s a wrap on Lanternuary 2026!!! Of course, we’ll still reblog and comment if u publish a new fanwork late, just tag us and we will get on that as soon as we see it! But anyway, I’m so happy with the turnout and so grateful to everyone who participated and enjoyed the fanworks!!
We might do this again next year if there’s interest! I was thinking of putting out an informal exit survey within the next week or so, so look out for that! Anyway, TYSM to everyone here, love u guys!!!!! MWAH MWAH MWAH

Hi, ty for asking! If the other main character is an alien/nonhuman, then yes that's completely fine. Again, we're not banning human characters from this event or anything like that; all we want to do is put a spotlight on the rest of the Green Lantern characters :)
