Bit of a hiatus on Tim’s end, just because he’s been stressed, a bit burned out, and increasingly anal about maintaining this blog.

Don’t know why I’m speaking in third person, but before I go, I want to reassure everyone that this has nothing to do with the other mundanes here. My muse has just died down a bit and shifted over to my OCs.

“Sorry. I just—I kind of hear that a lot. I mean. I get it, but I think it's a beautiful language with a lot of history and cultural significance behind it. It's worth learning about.”

Marc wasn't angry. He was too worried to be angry right now. And even if he wasn't, it wouldn't have lasted...

Marc would be lying if he said he wasn't panicking. Just taking a quick glance around, he wasn't any place he recognized. And to top that off, as desperately as he tried to search his brain, he couldn't quite remember what he had done last. He had blacked out...Again.

And he hadn't done that in a very long time. Something was wrong.

Something had to have been wrong.

He just couldn't wrap his head around what. And he hardly registered who was talking to him. With how fast his mind was going, it didn't quite feel real. Nevertheless, he responded.

“Safe is the last thing I'm feeling right now.”

Bruce couldn't talk. Not the way most kids his age could, at least. He could speak, but he could only echo his responses if he didn't want to stutter.

And that fact made communication a more than a little frustrating.

He had said “hello” three times already.
