Trying something new. This is the crochet star stitch! ✨🧶

I'm making a tarot card bag for my friend who has a set of cards, The Lost Tarot of Nostradamus.

I googled the deck to see its colours and, also to find out who said Nostradamus was. An astrologer aye...🌌

Immediately I thought of the shiny yarn I had.

Friend chose/liked this colour I picked out.

I think this will take some time...but slowly does it 🙂 it's quite a refreshing change from my usual work crochet! 😊

I'll likely make a base, and do an inner lining for this bag too... He has plastic-sleeved his whole deck! 😮 I'm worried the plastic will catch the yarn inside. Hmmm 🤔

Last pic: in case you're wondering its purpose 😂. It's my old jumbo beanbag, stuffed into a large laundry bag (after removing about half the foambeads), to become a footrest pouffe for my brother (or me) when we sit there for PS4 gaming. Reuse! Repurpose! 👍🏻
