. . Emergency case for @sodasound studios . Their #LexiconPro #M200 has an annoying issue at start-up: front panel frequently blinks with all LEDs and digits lit, and sometimes it just stays blank, and nothing happens... At other times, the unit starts up fine, but the panel begins to blink (in the same way) all of a sudden! 😨 . No wonder why after having inspected the interior of the machine: old leaking battery has already been replaced (certainly NOT by my own standards, for sure!!! 👎), but the corroded resistors in the NMI/Reset circuitry had not been replaced, nor even cleaned from battery leakage corrosion!!!! ☹️☹️☹️ Meaning that the CPU is either constantly reset at start-up, or the reset generator fires up randomly because of the corrosion that prevents current to flow normally... 😔 .
