Or a bad mood into a good mood. . It can make the difference between capitalizing on an opportunity or missing out on one. . It can form new relationships or mend broken one's. . A smile can transform a life, business, and a mind. . Recently, a smile encouraged me to go out of my way to give this particular business my money. Last week my car needed gas and normally I would pull into the nearest station and fill it up. . But this time I felt an urge to continue driving for several more miles, passing open gas stations along the way. . I headed back to a station that I visited weeks prior, and it certainly wasn't because it was less expense. . I choose to go out of my way and possibly spend more money because of a feeling I experienced from a simple smile. . This may seem odd to some of you reading this, but I remember the smile that was extended to each patron that walked into the store. It was an expression of genuine kindness and a pure sense of gratitude. . 🔑 All through a simple action that takes very little effort. . It was impactful because we don’t experience that enough. Instead, we often get ignored or even shown an attitude. - Like we’re inconveniencing that person for being there. . And then people wonder why businesses slow and eventually have to close their doors. . My friend gets a kick out of the way I handle most volatile situations. When faced with a combative person, I learned to simply smile and kill them with kindness. This approach causes an instant shift in that persons entire demeanor. Try it, it works every time! .
