2020 has felt like an endless prize fight that is nearing its end... And before the prize fight we were all running a marathon, with randomly placed hurdles and obstacles, ... And before the marathon we'd all had to swim the water part of a triathlon and climb a cliff to even get to the starting line.
Jesus fuck. Looking at something I wrote in November 2019 yesterday, legitimately felt like I wrote it four years ago, and July was more than a year ago, and the election was, I don't even know.
I don't know what comes next but rest assured, I'll be paying attention to politics for the rest of my life, and fighting for the folks who need the help the most.

Shitposting is dadaism! Modern dadaism but dadaism nonetheless! The internet (more specifically, social networks), at least in the recent past, have developed their own set of various values, and knowing the internet, knowing tumblr, people will become disgusted with these values and their natures. It’s inevitable and it’s happened. So in retaliation, whether it be unconscious or conscious, we shitpost. We make memes that don’t have captions in bold impact font or that don’t feature grumpy cat. They’re drawn crudely, not photographs. They have misspellings, they’re strictly lowercase, they’re totally anarchic, not only subverting against the standards set in English writing but also in the internet, even when internet English, if you will, is a little more lenient with traditional English writing values. And the first day of middle school history classes we answer the question: why do we study history? And the loud kid says “because it repeats itself” and we believe it, but not really, because it hasn’t to our knowledge. It’s not like someone’s going to shoot the heir to the Hungarian throne again, it’s much more subtle than that. It’s there, though, if we look. And it’s important to see.

Gaga is just like poetry, this is just what I could interprete from TEOG music video. :) Intro: First off what's and 'EDGE OF GLORY' as Gaga has explained and from my point of view and Edge of Glory is the moment in life when you feel complete or at your best,she describes this moment as death when you realize what you have accomplished and feel like you have lived fully.The new music video is a bit well different, you can tell it's not the usual 'dance you ass off' music video,why? because of the nature of the song.As an artist there are 3 main songs you can write 1. for your fans,2. for fully commercial means 3.the song to personally yet publicly express your feelings. TEOG is obviously a #3 and from my point of view I think that it is a justification for the new video Gaga can do what she pleases with her feelings.Even tho there are a lot of mixed feelings in our fan base I could interpret the video on a simple yet powerful way. The scene of the fire emergency stairs.Gaga on the video is constantly going up and down the stairs and I think that represents the struggle of her and the music business at times good (singing with Def Jam) at times bad(being dropped by Def Jam) you climb the stairs of glory, situations happen and you have to descend,that's why she never climbs completely to the top in the video because her life isn't over + because she hasn't reached her happiness,musical and artistic fulfillment yet.When Gaga does something COMPLETELY different I can only think of Dadaist art that challenges completely the aesthetics of life, which is what Gaga is doing only in the music industry.
