The latest looks from Fear of God keep on redefining modern day tailoring. What I love the most about it is that it clearly sets itself apart from the traditional tailoring, while paying homage to it.
It democratizes suiting in a way, making it easier for many to understand its allure and place in a more contemporary wardrobe, without undermining traditional tailoring and the suiting purists. Instead, it seems Lorenzo is saying “hats off to you guys” and showing more people about the power of tailoring.
The collection is a mix of multicultural references, merging Americana trademarks such as denim, with Japanese fabrics and Italian tailoring, that ultimately results in something fresh, modern and very appealing.
