I recently stumbled upon Alfred Hitchcock’s 1940 film Rebecca, and was hooked by its intense story and Hitchcock’s trademark symbolism (and noticed some possible subtext with Mrs. Danvers).  It was apparently his only movie to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.  I simply had to give it an updated trailer.
