I want this freedom! What if I just let go…? What if the wings played as abstract form and pattern? Something shifted in this bright story… colours began to dance across the page in new ways… I love how the layers build and new stories surprise you. This is where I’m headed … towards that freedom and letting go even more. I find that I learn in layers. I don’t know how to do it any other way. My dyslexic brain needs lots of ideas for me to take and merge into something that feels uniquely me. The way I learn new ways to create art is the samE as how I cook. I have an idea and gather different recipes together and choose what feels like it would go together. This step into abstracting the wings and simplifying the background of my imagined owls is exciting and full of possibilities. Im@loving the light bright colours that make me feel happy.
