A tale of two hubbies

No, not he who shall not be named and Sam. But Tobias and Sam, you know, her on screen tele-hubbies, platonic costars, one of whom she is very cozy with on and off screen. Yeah, those two. Came across these photos and captions by Caitriona via Bella Outlander Fan on IG and read them and then re-read them.

I find it interesting, while I know this is early on in filming Outlander, she would hashtag modesty pouch with Tobias, but it’s a whole different mood with Sam’s. And “x” a favorite of Sam’s to use. As time progressed, and Claire stayed back in time and she didn’t really need to deal with Frank/Tobias, the modesty pouch was forgotten, as was indicated by the question posed by our secret fellow shipper Josh Horowitz: who is most likely not to wear their modesty pouch?

Lastly, this photo-op. Tobias being a gentle kisser but Sam is literally puckering right up. A side note, I do miss those red curls.

Modesty

Was re-watching “Terminator: Genisys” last night, and one of the things that came to mind while watching those few nudes scenes was “they didn’t actually walk around the stage naked in those scenes, did they?”

with google’s help I found out that, no, they didn’t, and most actors don’t

So, lo and behold: what actors wear when they need to pretend they wear nothing at all

(lucky if they are panties, not so much when it’s modesty pouch (men) or modesty patch (women). And yes, there’s glue involved most of the time, coz you don’t want the garments “wonder around” while shooting close-ups!)
