I really adore Komorebi and it's been The Star of everything you've ever written and I've read. I really hope you can finish it with what you have in mind, even if it takes five years or ten. Writing a book takes a long time, and I know I have my fair share of fics I still haven't posted that's taken over years to write. Write at your own pace, post at your own pace. It's really beautiful, I hope any negative attention it might recieve is glanced at and promptly ignored, and I hope that, going forward, you're happy to keep writing it, and keep it up. It's one of the best, if only, DadMare AU that I've read. It's really special to me.

You know I recently started writing a fic of the Twins myself again (sort of) that's based on a dream I had once, and I've actually based that Nightmare a lot on your Dadmare! Komorebi has been a huge inspiration for me, especially with how determined you've been to work on it despite the huge stretches between updates!

(My AU doesn't involve any time travel shenanigans or babyfication, but it DOES make Nightmare a HELL of a lot more eldritch and unknowable. He views his Dream as something closer to a fetus at this point, lmao-)

Awww, holy moly, that's awesome! I'm glad to hear it, especially since... yeah. Komorebi is like a several-year long passion project. It's gonna happen, it'll just take its time.

Your Nightmare sounds sooo fun. I love eldritch and unknowable Nightmares, they're so spooky and fun to write. His Dream must like the equivalent of a very far away and tiny baby star

ooc - i heard a sound on tiktok that instantly made me think of dadmare au. it’s from the fnaf movie where abby asks mike why everybody always looks angry at him. fnaf movie aside. “she looks so angry… why does everybody always look at you that way?” is perf for them i think. the boy and the old man.

Hey, sorry if someone already ask this but, I am curious about what happen to child nightmare or passive. Since dadmare seem to be teleported to the past... Then does that mean passive just mysteriously dissapear and gone forever or he just also got transported to the future with grown up dream? (｀・ω・´)

Ohoh, I didn't answer this, did I? I think I tried to keep it vague, but because the decision was changed (talked extensively with my beta and then missed him really badly,) I should let you guys know he will show up later. It would be cute if he went to the future (I already thought of an AU for it haha) but that is not what I intend on happening.

In summary: He is still in the same world as Dadmare and Sunbeam and will be later referred to as Moonbeam. He will be found. Development is to follow. (chime noise) Thanks for your patience. Don't want to reveal spoilers.

The only question left for you guys is: How / why did he disappear?

( asking OOC ) Hello! I really enjoy this au! I was wondering, though.. what will happen to dream when dadmare leaves to go back to his home? Will dream be safe? and when dream grows up -- would be still meet ink and then travel the multiverse ( if it exists in the au ) to find his missing brother ( and dad )? Also, if its okay with you, can I draw a continuation where that happens? it's alright if not though.

SPOILER: Dream will not be abandoned in the finale, I assure you. Especially after all the boatloads of character development and etc. that happens.
