Due to growing up around ska'drin who hid their lineage, Talus was able to recognize that Maeve was hiding a tail fo her own and now believes her to be Half-Ska'drin. In an attempt to become "Tail-buddies" with her, Talus likes to follow her around and try to change her for the better in his eyes, this entails trying to convince Maeve that fighting and killing others was wrong. To Maeve he is nothing more than a childish nuisance that she tries to avoid by scaling buildings and getting away, there have been more than a few threats to slice his throat and his head has met her fist at least once. Maeve hardly tolerates the child and his constant pestering on how he thinks the things she enjoys and what has kept her alive on the streets is bad.

Skye is actually fully in control of how loud she is when she exits and enters stealth, adding in the feature herself after receiving a number of complaints early on. For the sake of fairness, and fun, she ups the volume during matches to give everyone a slight edge. As soon as they end the volume goes off and Skye goes back to seeing who she can sneak up on and, what tricks she can get away with; usually accompanied by the other flank girls.

Nowadays whenever Skye hears someone complaining she merely smiles and rolls her eyes, thinking of how they would've hated facing her earlier.
