If my druid was a Mordrem.
Heck.
I have a problem. I’m sorry. >:’)
I decided to draw progress of Cini’s modrem influenced look and why he hides his face around strangers. (And also why he doesn’t visit Grove anymore too often)
The reason why Cinis in general had to look like modrem is because he was on his mission to find sylvari named Tradescn in the jungle. He was alone on the mission so he figured out the best way to get through the thickest modrem lines was to look like one of them. As a sylvari he can grow out his armor so he just needed some time. While he was working on the disguise he made himself vulnerable for Mordemoth and he still suffers from side effects. During the time the dragon was alive he suffered from confusing thoughts that he knew were not fully his own, nor fully the dragon’s. Fortunately his will was strong enough to resist the corruption and not turn into a real modrem. But some of the thoughts never changed even after the death of the dragon. Now he suffers from depression and the idea of cycle of life being better if the dragons wouldn’t be destroyed. He refuses to take bigger part in the war against the dragons, so his excuse is to be a guardian angel for Trade. She manages to keep him sane even his thoughts are the darkest. Even she doesn’t know it.
Fullbody scribble of Quin. Daredevil spec because this is a person who wants to get real close to you real fast and beat you to death with a stick.
Moredremvari mordremvari mordremvari!
Richter was actually born Mordrem, emerged from the Blighting Pods. I have a kinda small HC that because Mordremoth is an elder dragon, those born directly under his influence likely have access to a more deep pool of knowledge than the Pale Tree-born Sylvari.
That said, Richter doesn’t seem to take much advantage of that wisdom. He knows plenty, sure! Things somebody shouldn’t know, maybe! But he’s got a temper, and a bit of a complex.
He’s almost a scumbag but he’s trying really hard to be good.
If my commander took a blighting pod to the face instead of Trahearne. :,^)
talk about Modrem Iphgenia. Hair works like Medusa, recently I’ve been influenced by western lore and ancient creature
Still trying to figure out caliqo’s design ! There’s too many black parts on him right now to my liking :<
As a mordrem, Caliqo can switch between a 2 legged and 4 legged form. He uses the 4 legged one during battle and patrols/walks in the jungle most of the time, but the two legged form is his most offensive one, as he becomes really efficent with his staff. Modrem Caliqo fills the role of a tank and healer. And is at his strongest alongside Valens (shuuzaar’s oc) ! In his tail is entertwined a hollow copy of Ventari’s tablet.
