Yes, the bot you refer to does indeed go by “Radio AM Robot”—but that’s usually just one in a long line of aliases, other examples being Modulator, Replay, シグナル (Signal), and AM/FM. As “FM”, she was a Decepticon spy, providing counter-intelligence on Autobot spy networks. “AM” has since defected from the Decepticons and works as a mercenary when the mood strikes her. She was most famously known for her forays into music production and broadcasting, including a notable career as a solo artist.

“AM” has the odd ability to travel backwards in time about 3 seconds to redo or “replay” her life. This ability makes it difficult to detect and even interact with her.

She has since been upgraded to possess three cassettebots of her own, staff that worked with her in the radio business: Upbeat (information extraction and destruction), Staccato (untraceable communication), and Slow Jam (audio distortion).
