Hull Daily Mail compared Mogo with the Swiss Army knife
Article published on November 19th, 2014 in “The Business” supplement under “My Bright Idea” section on page 4.
My Bright Idea
Q: What is your bright idea?
A: Mogo is an ultra-light camper for two that can be towed by a small car or even a quad bike. It fits into a single car garage and triples its space when it is used as a camper. Mogo, with its strong walls, offers the versatility of a Swiss Army knife. It is a camper that hauls bikes, kites, and kayaks at the weekend, yet it can serve as a small business unit, coffee shop or even a small cinema during the weekend. The caravans are also environmentally friendly because we use balsa wood and durable plastics, which are stronger and more sustainable than traditional materials.

Q: Where did it come from?
A: I have many years of experience in the caravan industry, but was inspired to develop the Mogo when I was looking for an alternative, cost-effective solution to camping equipment that would allow me to continue taking holidays regardless of economic constraints.
Q: What happens next?
A: As Hull is the capital of the caravan industry, I’m keen to get involved in cultural events that will lead up to 2017, when Hull is going to be the UK City of Culture. We’ve already converted one of our caravans into a miniature cinema, which has proved very popular at the Freedom Festival and the Yum! festival earlier this year.
