Happy Halloween everyone! Just one week out from Spooky Empire and we're still sorting through photos of both the Costume Contest and the BTS shots of creating this year's custom guitars. We wanted to take a quick moment to congratulate this year's winners and thank everyone involved for such an incredible show. The competition was really tough. The amount of entries was unbelievable. Props to the crowd, engaged, fun, and one of the biggest in a long time. The MC, Jaimz, was fire on the mic. The judges were great with offering their insight and think really tested with a very long deliberation leading up to the finalists. Always glad we don't have to make those decisions. Lol We just get to sit back and enjoy. Also, we believe there were a few "firsts" as well... 1, two groups won both top prizes. 2, to our knowledge a "Joker" (DC Comics) has never won a major award And 3, both "Best in Show" and "Best Craftmanship" were shogun/samurai warrior/ Japanese themed costumes. I should note that neither party knew one another. So Thank You all from the bottom of our hearts for a very special show! We do what we do because we LOVE what YOU do.
