1: the character everyone gets wrong

i think many ppl do not take the time to understand xander which is understandable bc he's very grating in the early seasons but i feel like you watch restless and you're like ohhhh so that's why he's like that. and even if you still don't like him you understand why he behaves the way he does and the 9 billion anxieties that inform his every move. but then for some ppl it doesn't quite click with them and he remains a bewildering character. but i do think there is a lot that is fascinating about him even if he is intolerable sometimes.

you already know it but that freaking person who said that me thinking spike shouldn't have beat robin wood to a bloody pulp was reflective of my protestant (???) morality and suggested that it meant i was pro-incarceration. it had been quite a while since someone had said something so completely detached from reality to me on this website. i'm not even christian and i don't even know what protestants do. that's none of my business.

20: part of canon you found tedious or boring

oh well there's so much isn't there......the bangel angst in season 3, the xander/willow flirtation in season 3, the stuff with adam in season 4. the existence of oz. much of season 7. so it goes!

21: part of canon you think is overhyped

i do like spuffy but i honestly don't think something blue is that good. it's funny and silly and spike & buffy are really cute in it but i'm not convinced it reveals any deeper truths about their relationship or their feelings for each other. i think it's just a funny goofy time.

oh none of these were about ats.....i'm so sorry........well something that i think is UNDERhyped is that cordy gains light powers and angel is literally allergic to the sun. so it's like she's his shining sun. it's so beautiful and no one even cares........
