Made for @books_or_hooks for the #onelastexchange a few months ago. I sent her copy off and completely forgot to take pics of it 😅

This typeset took me ages because it was the second project I did on affinity and it has SO MANY pictures. I had a lot of fun with it though!

Since this is such a special fic to me and a couple of my fandom besties I undertook the insane task of making FIVE copies of this 600 page beast. I got a little frustrated with it as I was making two 300 page text blocks and joining them. Only to discover that my 400 sheet capacity guillotine CAN cut this massive thing. Game changer. Now she has smooth edges and I’m much happier.

The back cover features the list of car rules that appears many times in the fic. And each copy has a different set of maps as the endpapers.

I tracked down a few artists that have done art for this fic and featured their pieces throughout, big thanks to @melonalemonade @psychlopz @dontcallmemiki @nonacquiescent for letting me use your art in the bind!

As soon as Becca finished this fic I started working on the typeset for this bind. It sat waiting for a bit while she did some more art for it including the gorgeous endpapers and title page. I was so excited to finish off these little quatro binds and the white pleather x pink htv that we picked turned out soooo cute 🩷

Slap Shots

A Hollanov Bind-This-In-Your-Style Shinny hosted by @citrusses & @phoenixortheflame

Each binder was given the same typeset and told to bind it in their style, so of course I went with a Snoopy theme! I've been absolutely loving seeing so many artists draw Shane & Ilya as Snoopy and Woodstock. Huge thanks to all the artists I reached out to who gave me permission to use their work in this bind! I ended up with more art than I knew what to do with and had to include it all.

My first quatro hardcover bind and she’s so cute and little and chonky! I’m obsessed.

Cover art was drawn by me and title page collage made in the shuffles app (so great for digital collages and so much fun to make things on!)

I haven’t included end notes or references in other binds but I do a lot of research for my fics and I thought it would be fun to have a references section in this bind, it might become a regular thing for me cause it’s cute!!

Had lots of fun making this and even though there were some mishaps with the vinyl foil I picked for the covers resulting in three slightly different versions I think it turned out so pretty!
