Mole Hill!

I’ve had this mole skull and forelegs in a drawer for YEARS now with this very display scene in mind for them, just never got around to making it. Finally put it all together the other day and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

The bones were cleaned by the dermestid beetle colony I used to have then I glued them all back together. Wooden base, plaster “dirt,” and some fake plants I painted to make look a little less fake-y. And a lil worm I made out of clay <3

Sunrises, Sunsets!

These recent Shenandoah Valley sunrises and sunsets were too beautiful not to share with you, especially on gray, chilly December days. This glowing sunset on December 2 included a sun pillar. September’s 1st Sunset
