MOLESKIN PROJECT X @spoke_art Today marks the 10th annual Moleskin Project at @spoke_art, co curated by @rodrigoluff. I'll be kicking it there around 5pm till close. This project features artists from around the globe all working within the pages of a Moleskine sketchbook to paint, draw, cut, sew and more to produce stunning works of art, that are then custom framed creating an impressive installation that you won't want to miss.  The Moleskine Project X opens today, June 5th and will be on view until the 26th. Throwback Thursday. This is one of my sketchbooks from 2012 and one my personal art tragedies. A water leak happened right above a stack of my sketchbooks and soaked all of them. 😭 As you can probably see in the video, the pages are warped, yellowed, have ugly watermarks, and dulled drawings with bleeding. On a happier note, it's nice to see the progress my art has made when comparing my current sketchbook to one from 4 years ago. -
