Anyways, just finished watching Martyn’s most recent episode and doodles Mollys sheep calling for Rens head and then I realised something.

Molly doesn’t like Scott because he’s been killing most of her sheep

Molly’s sheep don’t like Ren because he killed Molly

Molly hates the one who kills her sheep and the sheep hate the one who kills Molly

Molly and her sheep are one big happy family (guys someone kill me, I am literally finding the relationship between a shepherd and her sheep adorable)(guys kills me)

The Misadventures of Molly Shepherd

Protect the sheep and greet misadventurers. This is her purpose. She knows it in her very being. The sun god wills it so.

Her back is turned when the first misadventurer greets her.

“Hey Molly! How are you?” they say, and she turns to greet them with a smile.

“Greetings, Misadventurer! It is another lovely day in the fields.”

They wander over to the sheep pen. For a moment they hover, placing protective stones around the sheep enclosure before giving the sheep a handful of wheat. Helpful, Molly notes. Kind.

Misadventurer LDShadowlady is the first to earn positive reputation points.

Molly watches her leave.

The next time she sees a misadventurer, they approach the sheep first. They wield a sword. That sword meets the first of her beloved sheep and she sees red.

There is nothing she can do except watch.

When they approach she extends a polite smile and greets them with the only words she knows. Kind words.

Misadventurer Smajor1995 is the first to lose reputation points.

After that, misadventurers appear more often. In groups or alone. Word has apparently spread that she will not defend her sheep. That she will not notice. This is, of course, a lie. No one asks, so she cannot call them out on it.

SoupforEloise and InTheLittlewood lose reputation points, among many others.

Between these acts of violence against her flock, she is periodically approached for simple conversation. A greeting here, a question there. She answers in kind and then the misadventurers move on and disappear along the path.

That is until one fateful day. They approach as a group, asking the usual questions. Overwhelming her and watching as she is forced to speed up her talking in order to fully answer them all.

They stick around longer than usual, talking amongst themselves. One wields a sword. She hears shouting.

Her world goes dark.

She is nothing. She is nothing. She is—

Protect the sheep, greet misadventurers, and keep track of reputation. This is her purpose. The sun god wills it so.

She knows it in her very being that the sheep must be protected and that they are in danger. She knows that misadventurer Rendog is the most dangerous of them all.

When that evil misadventurer passes through, she makes sure to watch him with a close eye. He seems to have acquired one of those new mounts she keeps seeing. It suits him, the rat.

After all, she has her sheep. One day, someone will appreciate the simple life of a shepherd. When they do learn, and when they ask, she will reward them for it.

Because now, safe in the pockets of her dress, she holds a sheep mount that she intends to sell. The misadventurers will only get it when she deems them worthy. They must have a positive reputation.

She knows that reputation is everything.

When LDShadowlady asks, it is easy to pass over a sheep mount. This misadventurer is held in the highest reputation of all. They are the only misadventurer who has not killed her sheep.

When others ask, she sends them on a quest. For those who have only killed a handful of sheep, they may earn back her trust by treating her sheep kindly. By learning to shear them.

For those who have wronged her by killing more than a few sheep, it will be a much larger bargain. But, if they are desperate to learn the ways of the shepherd and gain back her trust, there is another way.

A new sheep now lives in her pen. It’s a little different from the others and is her most beloved. It has a particular interest that she cannot fulfill alone and she requires help.

So, despite a misadventurer having many negative reputation points, Molly will grant them reprieve from their punishment. She will gift a special mount to anyone who brings her favorite sheep a toy. And that toy?

Working on making a Molly Shepard mc skin, saw her in misadventures and went omg that’s mine I need that dress! I couldn’t find the skin any wear so I made my own, it’s different as I’ve only had screenshots to go off and the colours are a lot lighter(I’m gonna make two one lighter one darker) it was hard to colour Mach, but one im done I’ll post it and I’ll put it up on skin dex(I think I have an account on there) I’ll leave a link on the finished thing :) here’s a sneak peak!
