( 🌙 ) SHE LAUGHS , A smile wide and affectionate on her face as she sat with the other as the two of them indulged in a drink or two. it had been . . a long while it felt since either of them ( she could only guess for firefly at least ) had time to just relax and have a good time. what a vacation this TURNED OUT to be.

flaxen gaze looks up at the stellaron hunter, not having heard her until she approached him. when was the last day he had a day off ? even when he wasn't attending to the state of affairs around penacony he was doing something for the planet or engaging in his own research. days in which he was doing nothing at all was few and far between. yet he couldn't help but notice how his shoulders were tight with tension, and how he seemed exhausted even within the dream. perhaps a break wouldn't hurt. nodding, he gestured for her to lead the way.

and yet, they do not come. he has dreamed of these better days, of a utopia without suffering, since he was a child, and yet he was no closer to his goal than before. yet he didn't need to tell firefly that, for he was sure that she wished for just the same. so he just lets out a tired sigh, though it is quickly replaced by his signature calm neutrality. if it doesn't reach his eyes, well, that would be for her to decide.

His thoughts were pushed aside listening to the other for a moment. head titled.  he couldn't help but sigh. Today has been stressful for most, and being around this has led to ups and downs.  yet, he was going to ignore it. Sitting there, he rested his head on his hand and looked at the other. 

"I would suggest you take a break then before that happens. Everyone deserves a break once in a while. So why won't you take the moment to yourself? Whatever you have going on isn't going to go away."
