i aspire to be as sneaky as mona vanderwaal
Jesus fuck can we just collectively agree that Mona is the baddest bitch alive who don’t need protection, a man, or the liars shit
And aria is a dumb character and ezria is the most dried out ship of all….. just saying
I’m feeling a little sad for Mona. All she ever wanted was to be included in Hanna’s circle of friends. Too bad, Hanna was the only person who could accept her, regardless of her flaws. Why? Why is that? Because of all the shit she’s done to the girls? Because she suffered through a mental illness and couldn’t help herself? All those times, she helped them when she could, but did she get anything out of it? Nothing, but being yoyoed (no pun intended). Spencer was pretending to be A and almost costed Aria a relationship. Aria was working for AD and blatantly chose Ezra over them, yet, they learned to see the good and forgive her in just a matter of seconds? Mona helped them countless of times, and got nothing, but doubtful stares thrown at her. They just didn’t understand her mental ilness, and never wanted to give her a chance. She deserved to be included, she’d done everything for them. Yes, I’m aware that some of them might be for her own benefit, but the game was all she was good at. They should get that and accept that from her just like they accepted Aria and Spencer’s flaws and mistakes. You have no idea how mad I am when they always find a way to exclude her from everything, how they are so blinded by anything she has done and risked for them. I just wish they would include her instead of ice her out. Just one time. Anyway, I'm delighted that Mona got the happy ending she deserved. And a life she's always dreamed of. Maybe not with Hanna, or the girls, but she's happier being herself. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to get this out after I binge watched the whole season 7 of PLL.
~ATTENTION PLEASE~ How has everybody forgotten about this??! This is the scene in s5 where Ali has just come back and Hanna goes and gets black streaks in her hair and then it pans off to MONA watching behind glass with some mystery girl (it looks like Ali)! & this also reminds me of the scene where mona is 'killed', the blonde coming up the stairs everything about her looks like Ali to me and then when the person enters mona's room mona turns around and clearly see's who it is (yet she never mentioned anything). This really leads me to believe that mona knows/knew who A is!!! Somebody please tweet this pic to Marlene? I want this explained!😱 @bestplltheories @pllmysteries @pllsphere @plltherapysessions @plllogic @alisonredcoat @a-isfor-answers @a-teamofficial @wrenischarles @whothefckischarles @wrxnkingston @prettylittlesecrethints @prettylittlethe0ry @prettylittlesessions
You gotta love Mona…
A little bit of crazy with a whole lot of brains equals a very dangerous mix otherwise known as Mona. Mona knows everything, why are we not her friend? Because we like to make life hard that’s why…
PLL 7x18…
After a full day of letting this process, I think I am ready to go through this episode. For those of you who haven’t seen it, stop reading and go watch it. I thought the episode prior to last weeks episode was good and the episode prior to that one as well, but this episode, by far, has been the best. It has all of us on pins and needles trying to figure out how our girls are going to get out of this one when the cops (for the first time) seem to be doing a decent job of investigating a murder. So let’s dive in…
Things that annoyed me…
• The stupid game itself
For reals, how does this box with lights appear in a room and 2 minutes later disappear without a single trace. I have to admit I did laugh when Alison stopped and starred at the game. If I were Emily I’d be like ummmm detour into another room, that game will still be here after we’re done.
• Mona falling victim to her addiction Man, has my girl not been through enough? This poor girl works so hard to kick this habit and her friend pulls her back in. I have to say it was selfish even though I know Mona is their best shot at figuring it out, but watching her slide back down that rabbit hole is just heartbreaking. Don’t get me wrong, Mona is anything but anyone’s victim, but I can’t help but feel for her on this one. Shame on you Hannah for not following your instincts. You picked up that something was up, but dropped it because everybody else chalked it up to her being different. *Sigh*
• Aria trying to justify her actions Dude, you destroyed a nursery, scared the sh** out of your friends and you destroyed a family. Now don’t get me wrong, I think Aria is doing Veronica a favor by exposing what Peter is truly like, but still, selfish and honestly I don’t think there is a way to justify it. You can’t say one thing is worth the other.
Things I loved…
• Friends huddling together in a time of crisis First off, the scene with everyone in the hotel room, was a flashback to when these relationships mattered. Watching these girls and Caleb interact, there was a lightheartedness that has been missing for awhile, and it’s so refreshing to see.
• Emison revealing themselves E: Okay guys, I know we all woke up early and we’re cranky, but let’s stay focused. I’m as freaked out as the rest of you… Maybe even more, considering it looks like A.D. was watching Ali and me sleep last night H: Wait so are you two… *sheepish looks from Em and Ali* H: Wow, bout time…
I wondered how they would tell the girls. Even though it wouldn’t have been a shock, the idea that they would have to tell them would made for an awkward conversation. This made it so that it was mentioned and the comfort level behind the comments showed the growth in the girls. No judgments, just friends saying dude you took forever. What is there not to love about that?
• One plea and you all go free Not necessarily liking the plea part, but I am liking how the liars all stuck together. Each of them were willing to stick up for each other or fall onto the sword to save the other, and it shows how close they have gotten. They realize there are consequences and that they may not be able to talk themselves out of this one but they aren’t willing to sacrifice each other.
PLL 7x18 just knocked it out of the park…
If this episode is an indication of where the next two episodes will pick up from, we are in for a hell of a ride. This episode has set the bar at a height that, honestly, I wonder has a ceiling. We felt that warm fuzzy feeling when the girls talked and looked normal for a split second, then we got the giddy dizzying feeling when we watched them all realize that love is what mattered and this could be it, finally they got us to the butterflies in our stomach feeling where a dead body is in a trunk and the cops are on your heels. What more could you possibly ask for? I could always ask for more because I would want these girls to live forever in my world, but I can say that they are feeding a fire they have stoked for seven years and we all have front row seats to the explosion that is destined to happen.
When Mona smiles at you… Yes Emily, we too would be a little afraid.
On the bright side, beauty and brains with a side of crazy make for an eventful afternoon… I am just going to say that I love this pairing.
