20th c boyz?
THAT’S NOT AN ANIME but I’ll do it anyway
haven’t heard of it | absolutely never watching | might watch | currently watching | dropped | hated it | meh | a positive okay | liked it | liked it a lot! | loved it | a favorite
don’t watch period | drop if not interested within 2-3 episodes | give it a go, could be your thing | 5 star recommendation
20th Century Boys is a work of fucking art (much like anything that Urasawa touches), and it’s definitely a solid recommendation. The characters are all interesting, the story is intense, and it’s a wild fucking ride from start to finish. Read that shit. Go. Do it.
@redarcanacustom replied to your post: how straight people think gay people talk: oh...
I’m gay and I talk entirely in Foucault and Sartre soundbites.
I open my mouth and all that comes out are assorted Dota and Warcraft voicelines
"That'll be 5.43 ma'am" "[hands her my card] POWER...OVERWHELMING..."
If there were two guys on the moon and icefrog didn't post patch notes would that be fucked up or what
10 years since patch notes i walk the empty streets trying to think of something else but my mind always comes back to patch notes
obligatory ninetales for that ask prompt
not my favorite │ average │ cute │ adorable │ best │ ultimate fave
I like multi-tails a lot tbh
Hey Mona do you take constructive criticisms on your reblogs
if this is about the Elastic Man post I definitely don’t
I hate Zarya too especially as a symptom of Blizzard's Bad Writing alongside Tjorn. Both of them are robot-racist because Blizzard wanted to talk about racism but didn't want to marginalize anyone who thought Racism was okay so even though we have PoCs, we have robots who are stand-in for racism. Not to mention that "no matter how assimilated, these minorities are ready to strike at moment's change" was the sentiment used against Japanese during WW II when the subject of internment came up so...
And see this brings up another good point of “why does fandom latch onto “””problematic””” characters who are written to be rude/bad people that have bad mindsets and ideals”
Like at least Torb has the decency to be a good person to his family and friends and he loves them dearly but Zarya is just…big, rude, hates all the robot characters even though they’re GENUINELY NICE TO HER (or at the very fucking least, tolerant of her - just consider Genji, whose life-saving surgeries required him to be turned into a cyborg and because Zarya’s a gross shitheel that makes him just as bad as a rogue Omnic). She doesn’t have any redeeming qualities at all, really. She’s written badly and characterized worse by Blizz and I’m certain that if it wasn’t for the fact they were all part of Overwatch, she’d be out here trying to kill anyone there that was vaguely robotic (and considering they in-canon have capacity to feel emotions and pain, this is pretty fucking bad).
