Mona Williams - This House Is Burning - Signet - 1979
Mrs. Harrison (Mona) Williams, shown arriving in New York on the liner Bremen on April 19, 1934, was named by Parisian fashion houses the "Best Dressed Woman in the World." She is wearing an ensemble of an emerald green tailored dress, fastened up the front with green metal buttons; a saucy green hat, brim down in front, up in back, perched toward the forehead; a flowing green flowered tie, tied in a wide bow; a handbag measuring about 8" by 12", and brown gloves and shoes. Mrs. Williams said her ensemble was nearly all American.
