Thank you henrik!
also same anon but a lot of people have reviewed the telemetry and said that you can SEE in the telemetry that he hits the throttle (link here) and in the video you can hear he hits the throttle, very possible that rather than checo confessing to it, someone at red bull noticed …. in MY honest opinion, at least
help this is so funny 💀 any liar worth their salt would have at least TRIED the "idk my foot slipped 🤷♀️" defense before confessing. tho i guess who knows, maybe he DID stick to that defense and that's why they haven't fired him yet 👀
diff anon but why did checo even tell them it was on purpose... did it like come out during his wild night of monaco partying or someth?
THAT'S WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND!! totally respect the move, gotta do what you gotta do to win and if you don't do a little crime on occasion do you even WANT to win? but to tell people afterwards? are you serious? you should be taking that shit straight to the grave. it literally doesn't matter if the telemetry is telling on you and they basically know the truth anyways, you Do Not EVER admit to it!! the only thing i can assume is that he's too catholic for his own good and there wasn't a priest on site to confess to :/
at first glance, checo purposefully crashing seems SO dumb. why would he do that. but on second glance we have to put ourselves into the mindset of may 2022. checo was asked to let max by in spain and he was PISSED. max checo and charles were all within 25 points of each other, and yet there was hype about checo taking the fight to max. checo seems like a nice guy but there is a lot of ego in his past. i can totally see a seanrio that you said where he’s within touching distance of max signs a fat new contract and is outperforming him alllll weekend in monaco and decides to twist fate in his favor
and with that you've 100% convinced me. that old man definitely did the crime, and now he has to pay the time (in lectures from max verstappen christian horner helmut marko et al)
Didn't ch*co signed his contract extension in monaco? What if it was all plot for him to sign that contract.. sneakyyy
no, i think maybe it was announced right after, but it must have been signed before because i remember there was that moment with the hot mic after his win where he was joking about how he should have waited to sign the contract and gotten a better deal 😭

not being a pg hater but he was literally so much faster and had so much grip on the intermediate tyre surrounded by full wet tyres and everyone is eating up his overtake on daniel as if the man could deal with the lack of grip on the wets he already had
I'm not saying pierre is not talented but everyone is really overviewing that to just add to the dr hate train as well
yeah i mean. i think pierre absolutely did an incredible job with his race and SHOULD be commended for that, but at the same time, the narratives surrounding daniel right now are that he's old and tired and washed, and there's a Not Small contingency of people that want to believe it and are going to jump on literally anything they can to prove their case.
but it CAN BE both (and is, in my opinion!!)- pierre did a great job AND daniel was at a disadvantage yet again because of poor team strategy
