Tales from the Trench - Day 2.
Day 2 on site!! wooo. Well rain, of course rain, it's Wales. The morning started off with recording the section that we dug out yesterday, paying specific attention to the ditch that we found. We dug onto the ditch this afternoon and so far have found chunks of medieval pottery, charcoal and some bone fragments (and I really mean fragments). Sadly it looks like we're pretty much at the bottom of the ditch which is pretty disappointing because we were hoping to find something that at least pin points what the heck it is. Tomorrow I imagine we'll clear up some more and try and get to the bottom of the ditch, record then move on.
