Ichabbie AU ↳ Time/Dimension-Traveler!Abbie and Pirate!Ichabod

Abbie Mills led a simple life. Or as simple as one's life could get when they were abandoned as a child and was left to fend for themself. She fought her way to survive, and survive she did. She believed there was nothing special about her. Her life was  an ordinary police Lieutenant's life... but that all changed when the dreams started happening. Flashes of the vast blue sea, sails melding with the sky, salty winds caressing her body whispering promises of a glorious adventure. They were nothing but fantastical stories that gave color to her monochrome routine. That is, until one morning she wakes up on the deck of a pirate ship and is held at gun point by no other than Captain Ichabod Crane. Ichabod, having never seen a woman quite like her before, decides to spare her the plank. He feels inexplicably drawn to her and enlists her help in his quest to obtaining the Lost Treasure of Sleepy Hollow. Together they travel the oceans and battle creatures that were thought to be myths in order to find this treasure. But there is much more than meets the eye to this seemingly simple sea adventure. Was Abbie transported to this realm at random? Or is there something more? And why does the map mention something about two witnesses being needed to discover the true location of this hidden treasure?

ICHABBIE WEEK (X) ↳ Day Four: AU

Meet Abbie Mills, newly promoted Homocide Detective for the NYPD. To prove her worth as the only female detective on the team she requests the high-profile case regarding the serial killer the media has dubbed The Revolutionist. This madman would murder his victims then rearrange their bodies to reenact scenes from the Revolutionary War. Abbie enlists the help of local eccentric NYU history professor Ichabod Crane for his extensive knowledge on the subject. They both work closely together to track down the killer. Ichabod's predictions on who the next victims will be are always spot on, but the pair always seem to just miss the killer. While tracking down The Revolutionist the sexual tension between the two begin to grow until they can no longer deny their physical desires for each other. However, Abbie begins to realize why the serial killer always seems to be one step ahead of them, why he is so knowledgeable about the department's status on him, why Ichabod always seems to be missing when The Revolutionist makes his dramatic appearances.
