i think the thing about the monkees that really hooked into my skin is its existence in this strange hazy area between fiction and reality while also jumping from one to the other. and never being one OR the other. and being both at the same time.

Yellow Submarine Beatles are my favorite Beatle designs and I feel like it would look amazing on the Monkees!!

Of course, Mike will have his green wool hat. I’d love it if Peter had the same eye design as Ringo, but that may just be my own bias since they’re both my favorites :]

Peters design would be perfect with the green and blue outfit with his beads on top. He just needs his signature haircut and he’s good to go

Davy was a little harder to chose cause i associate him with reds and blues. But yellows?? IT LOOKS PERFECT ON HIM FOR THIS!!
