Leihra Al'Harin
Leihra was to become the shaman of her people, a tribe of the Wildlands. Roaming the mountainous regions, they have settled around a crater where a mountain once stood, now gone as if scooped away by a titan. A crystal-clear glacial lake was left behind, where the Thedran people built their homes. Grand structures of stone and wood surrounded the lake's shores, schools of fish brought in to breed in the waters to be bred for food for generations ahead.
The town is no longer where it once stood.
Structures that stood for generations are now gone, no trace of their ever having been there at all. All that is left is a glacial lake shrouded in mist, waters dead and empty of all signs of life. Nothing grows in that crater now.
Leihra is all that is left of her people, her only memories being put to rest by her father during the annual harvest festival. She remembers the scratchy, warm woollen blanket under her fingers, the soft glow of lanterns. The sounds of the cheers of her people, and the silent, reverberating toll of a bell. It shook her bones, but no sounds rolled over the mountainside. Shock without sound.
The bell struck and all was silent. She lay on the cold stone and dead soil of a glacial lake shore. Thirteen years old, she was left alone in the mountains of the Wildlands.
She picked up her lonely path six years ago, her sole companion a wildcat that found her as a teenager in the mountains, bringing her prey and curling around cold feet when the evening began to nip, even though the cold of night no longer seemed to have the teeth it once had.
Leihra has left the lake behind, giving up on waiting for her people to return to her. She wanders the world looking for answers she fears she will never find, asking strangers about a town that seems to never have existed. And all the while she nurters her gift, the seed of frigid emptiness growing in her core where warm magic once roiled.
Rumor has it she travels the woods by night, that the creatures are her friends and the star her guide. When it comes to the fey she is sympathetic never forget that she IS fey--and with the fey all things have a price.
BONIFACE – half pegacorn, half elf
boniface is a well-known knight of the wildlands, and is very proud of his widely distributed collectible trading card. he takes himself VERY seriously: his honor, his job, his hair.
a member of the gryphon company. considers himself the leader of the group, though nobody else really does.
anyone who knows him knows he’s a HUGE pain in the ass. sure, he’s done many a heroic deed in his time, but he’s vain, hotheaded, and overdramatic.
on the other hand, he sincerely cares about people and would do basically anything for those he loves – just expect some posturing to come with it.
haven’t decided on a last name or epithet yet but feel free to call him WHATEVER u want no matter how unflattering
