Monsta X Reaction to Having a Parent-Like Female Member

Sorry this took so long. Also, thank you to @cutekitty145 for requesting again. I really really appreciate all the support you’ve been giving my blog sweetheart <3. Once again if this is a bit off from what you wanted just let me know and I’ll fix it. I’ll get the BTS one out later after I do a couple other requests. One more thing, thank you for stanning Monsta X these boys deserve all the love in the world.

Shownu/ Son Hyunwoo -

So Shownu is already the dad of the group as we all know so I guess that would make a very parent-like female member the mom (like in a platonic way through, unless you don’t want it to be then you know). I think he would like having someone to share this parent like responsibility with, it would really take the weight off his shoulders. It would also be nice for him to have someone focused on making sure he doesn’t forget to take care of himself while he’s busy being a dutiful dad. I think since the both of you forget to take care of yourselves while taking care of the other members sometimes you would get stuck in this loop of just taking care of each other. Like you’re both burned out so you keep making the other one eat or sleep and completely forget about the other members until both of you are back on your feet and in your right mind. He would also appreciate that you weren’t afraid to be stern with the boys. All in all he would just really respect you.

“Hey remember to eat lunch today.” He would say in your direction as you head to practice

“Only if you go to sleep at a reasonable time tonight.” You would throw back at him.

Wonho/ Shin Hoseok -

I think Wonho would take advantage of this at first because he didn’t realize you were sacrificing your own health and time to make sure the other members were in good health. It wasn’t until you helped him get over his cold, consequently giving yourself a cold that he realized how hard you worked for them. After this he would try his best to stay healthy for you so you wouldn’t have to worry him so much. He would also try to keep the other boys healthy as well, like secretly slipping vitamins into their food just to make sure you wouldn’t get yourself sick trying to help them. He would be so sweet to you trying to lighten your day whenever he could because he greatly appreciated everything you did/do for the good of the group, even through he would prefer you don’t sacrifice your own health so that they could have theirs.

*Kihyun coughs one time*

“Nope you can’t get sick, cause if you get sick (Y/N) gets sick and then everyone is out of luck” he would say slipping a handful of vitamins to Kihyun

Lee Minhyuk -

Minhyuk is one of the members you always had to get onto. He just had too much energy for his own good. During shoots he’s always too loud, while learning dances he always gets distracted, and he never NEVER goes to bed at a reasonable time. When you first joined the group, it would just be gentle reminders like ‘hey make sure you listen this is important’, or ‘you should probably go to bed soon we have an early morning tomorrow’, and for a while that worked. However, as you two grew closer gentle reminders just wouldn’t work anymore and so you have to resort to something a little more drastic. One night he would be playing video games really loud while everyone else was trying to sleep and you were over it. Eventually you hopped out of bed barged straight up to the computer and gave him the most stern and intimidating demand any of the members had ever seen, that it verged on scary. “Lee Minhyuk I swear to God if you don’t turn off that game and go to bed I will throw your computer and the monitor off the roof of this building then proceed to snap all your game discs in half.” Since then if the members wanted him to stop doing anything or they needed him to do something all it would take was a threat about going to get you and he would do whatever they wanted.

“Minhyuk stop taking my phone, I need to call Hyungwon.” I.M. whined at the blonde boy.

“Make me.” Minhyuk taunted back snatching his phone again. Changkyun sighed heavily before taking a deep breath.

“(Y/N)!!!” Minhyuk immediately gave back his phone before vacating the premises as quickly as possible.

Yoo Kihyun -

At first, it would be really weird for Kihyun. Usually he is the first up and in charge of getting all of the other members ready to go in the morning, but immediately after you joined he found you waking him up in the morning along with the rest of the members. You even somehow found a way to get Hyungwon up in the mornings in a reasonable amount of time. To him it felt like his entire role in this group was changing simply because you got up before him, and he didn’t like it. He would get over it soon. Eventually he would learn to love the extra time he got in the morning to sleep in and get ready without having to deal with the other members. He would always make sure to thank you through, because he knew how much work it was when he did it and how the boys would always just take it for granted.

“Kihyun, Kihyunie,” You said sitting on the side of his bed in the dorm. “It’s time to get ready.” You would shake him awake. When you saw his eyes open you would move to get up and go to the next bed, but he would reach up and grab your wrist stopping you.

“Thank you for all you hard work (Y/N)” he would say to you in his sleepy morning voice before letting you continue your morning routine.

Chae Hyungwon -

At first you and Hyungwon weren’t very close. You often didn’t have to baby him like you did with the others, so you often spent more time with the other members helping them instead. But when Hyungwon was diagnosed with Cellulitis and could continue schedules with you and the other members you immediately focused all your attention on him. There was only a bit of time before you left on tour with the other boys but you spent all of it making sure Hyungwon was comfortable and taking the right medication and healing as fast as he could so he could join you all.

While on tour you knew how much he hated being alone at home while the rest of the group was traveling so you spent almost half of your day on facetime with Hyungwon, updating him on everything making sure he never felt left out of any activities. When you returned back from tour he was feeling a lot better and was very grateful to you for keeping him in mind the entire time. Every since then he’s felt a great deal of love towards you (in a platonic way or not take it how you like) and your connection was amazing. Although you had to delegate some time back to the other boys you always found time for Hyungwon.

“Thank you so much (Y/N),” Hyungwon immediately gave you the greatest hug as you walked through the doors of the dorm for the first time after returning from tour. “I don’t know how I would’ve done this without you.

Lee Jooheon -

Let's be real Jooheon is like the sweetest boy in existence. The second he realized that you would do anything for the boys and you were prepared to take care of them to your best ability, he was prepared and committed to doing the same for you. He would even try to protect you while you were out doing shows and performances. Like you’re wearing a skirt and need to kneel down and get something, he would take off his jacket and cover you with it. Another idol is getting too close to you, he would be there in a second to make sure you weren’t uncomfortable. The amount of attention and protection he gave you made the entire fanbase and most MCs see you as either the cutest brother/ sister pair or lead them to believe that the two of you were secretly dating (And who knows maybe you are). Jooheon just thought you were too kind to be exposed to all the bad stuff in the world and wanted you to have someone who cared for you as much and in the same way you cared for everyone else. I also feel like a lot of platonic pet names would be used between you two.

“Hey princess was he bothering you,” Jooheon would say as Jaehyun walked away from you backstage at a performance. “I can go talk to him if he was.” Jooheon had both of his hands on your upper arms and was basically inspecting you for damages.

“I’m fine Honey. You don’t have to threaten everyone I talk to.”

I.M. / Lim ChangKyun -

Okay let's be real I’m pretty sure I.M. loves to be babied. You can fight me on this, but it’s true. This boy would love to have you there to take care of him in like a maternal kind of way. He would have had this huge amount of trust for you from the very beginning and always come to you when he needs anything. He would literally out of nowhere come up to you and lay his head in your lap, and proceed to rant to you for an hour about how the other boys were bullying him, and want you to play with his hair. I feel like there would also be a whole lot of skinship to the level where couples are basically but all completely platonic (or not, your choice) just because he felt so close to you. For him being taken care of and babied just was a good way for him to destress and he would love that he had someone there who could be that source of relaxation for him.

“(Y/N)!!” You hear Changkyun yell from the other room. Getting up you walk to where he is see him pouting on the couch holding his phone in a tight grip.

“Minhyuk kept taking my phone.” He would say calming now that you were in the room. You would ruffle his hair and sit down next to him to listen to him rant about one of his best friends, even through you knew he could never be mad at him. By the end he was already feeling a lot better and going to exact his revenge on the bubbly boy.
