A guy who had no job, a team that used to do start and park and a Canadian crew chief just won the NASCAR championship. Fans who are sick of corporate drivers and the fat cat owners need to take notice of this. Martin Truex is the son of a lobster fisherman. Cole Pearn is an engineer who used [to] race in the CASCAR series, Barney Vissar is a Vietnam veteran who owns a chain of furniture stores. These are all common men who did the un common thing. These are the stories that made us become NASCAR fans and these are the stories that keep us as fans.

I don't know what they're showing on tv but this driver intro stuff is some surreal, dystopian stuff. Fireworks, EDM deejay, Harleys doing burnouts, trophy trucks doing doughnuts with light bars blazing.
