WELP NONE OF MY HOPES AND DREAMS CAME TO FRUITION FOR THIS RACE--unless you count Ricky causing mayhem, though that was tarnished somewhat by the fact that his mayhem doomed my other hopes and dreams. XD (I wanted JJ and Kyle Larson somewhere P1-10 and Danica P10-20.) But, some highlights--!
Austin Dillon winning in the 3 car
Aric Almirola being up top up until that last moment, oh no
dominant Blaney
Bubba Wallace rookie P2!
Joey and Denny looming behind Ryan like sharks for a zillion laps
at least there weren’t 5 overtimes
Congratulations to Martin Truex, Jr., 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion!
Keselowski & Team Penske Agree to Multi-year Extension
Team Penske has announced that the organization has reached an agreement with Brad Keselowski to remain with the team as the driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion. The multi-year extension ensures that the 2012 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) Champion and 23-time MENCS race winner will continue to be an integral part of Team Penske – the only team he has driven for full-time over the course of his 10-year MENCS career.
The announcement follows the news that No. 2 team crew chief, Paul Wolfe, has also agreed to a multi-year extension with Team Penske.
Oh heck yes. First Darlington scheme released. Ryan Blaney and Wood Brothers Racing are taking it back to 1987 with Kyle Petty’s Coke 600 winning scheme.
