would you like more monster high art? yes, yes you would. today i come to the internet with a frankie stein redesign! cw: mentions of dismemberment, corpses, etc for my redesign, i wanted to go with a more traditional route and create frankie’s new look based more on the original story “frankenstein’s monster” by the queen of science fiction, mary shelley. the book describes that victor frankenstein assembled his monster using dismembered pieces from separate corpses and that the skin had a yellow tint to it and was so thin that you could see the arteries working beneath it. lucky for y’all, i haven’t studied human anatomy to that extent yet so y’all are spared another day before i enter my horror art era. i think when frankie’s first created, she’d gravitate towards the muted earth tones from aesthetics like fairy grunge but then slowly start to incorporate bright neons and whatnot as she’s more exposed to teenage life. i also drew g1 frankie just for fun because i was still holding a grudge against g3 frankie but i’ve come to love them so much. i hope you all enjoy my redesign of frankie! let me know who you wanna see next in this drawing series of mine and i’ll pull from the names raffle-style. casual reminder that my commissions are in fact open still so don’t be afraid to shoot me a message! #monsterhigh #monsterhighfanart #monsterhighart #monsterhighredesign #traditionalart #mixedmedia #mixedmediaart #monsterhighheadcanons #commissionsopen #commissionsareopen (at Monster High) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChceTExgSB3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
