The sad state of George Martin’s former AIR studios on the Caribbean island of Monsterrat. A rock star hotspot in its heydays in the 1980s (third image), when the sky was the limit in the rock music business, it’s now a sad, derelict place, closed to the public as it’s falling apart.

Artists who used the facilities include Paul McCartney (TUG OF WAR), The Police, The Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, and Elton John. Dire Straits recorded their classic BROTHERS IN ARMS (1985) there.
