moon takes shit from no one

monty raging in the daycare but moon had a rough day too so he smacks his claws away

moon: i know you’re going through some stuff but i JUST cleaned the daycare

moon: you wreck my work, you clean it up, lizard boy

maybe he gator wrestles monty to a huge pillow pile for ‘snuggle time’/ time out has him hit all the stuff that needs to be destroyed in the daycare

similar to the above but it’s a scenario more based on the kabedon (wall slam) trope, with either taller or shorter moon

monty’s about to rage and visits the daycare but doesn’t realize it’s almost naptime

moon intercepts him somewhere around the daycare, far away from the kids

grabs monty’s wrists and slams them against the wall, looming over the gator (moon’s either taller or flying with the cord)

moon: naughty naughty, it’s naptime in the daycare right now. use your inside voice, monty~

monty gets kinda pissy and grumbles but it’s for the kids so he quiets down 

moon kisses him on the cheek, promising they can talk about whatever made him angry after the daycare closes, before gliding away again

meanwhile monty’s not angry anymore, just stunned and a little embarrassed he almost lost it in front of the kids

he’s also happy/ embarrassed/ dopey that he got a moon kiss

moon and monty are dancing/ hanging out and sun pops up in the shared mindscape, taking control of one of their legs and making moon trip into monty’s arms

it’s wingman help but also petty friend competition

they keep tripping each other up and monty’s like ‘bruh what the fuck, do you need to go to parts and services or like???’

after the DA is dating monty they let it slip that the majority of those instances were on purpose

sun: oh yeah, that time moon tripped me on the golf club so that we’d fall into your arms-

monty: wut

sun: AHAHAHA WUT?!?!?

they’ll run away from questioning

monty: so sun told me you guys pretended to fall into my arms before we started dating

moon, already halfway to the daycare so he doesn’t’ have to answer: SORRY, TAKING A RAINCHECK ON OUR DATE

monty: w-MOON GET BACK HERE!!

moon, sprinting like the wind, like a fuckin goblin: NEVER!!!

bonus if monty catches up and starts peppering them with kisses like

monty: tell me or i won’t stop

the DA: ... ( /////)

monty: fuck, tell me or i will stop

double bonus if they try even harder (either after they start dating or pre relationship where they’re trying to make it obvious they like monty)
